Each room at Het Weeshuis features a bathroom and seating area with a separate bedroom. Guests have access to a private living room. They can make use of a spacious garden with donkeys. Guests can also make use of the terrace. We loved the property - the rooms are wonderful with the separate lounge. Convenient to everything and for exploring on foot. Parking at the premises which was great. Coffee/tea and honor snack bar is great. The most wonderfully comfortable beds!

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal. Badhotel is situated next to Podium Vlieland and opposite of Tromp’s Huys Museum. In summer the island of Texel is 30 minutes away by boat. Great central location, very friendly staff. It was very quiet when we stayed so breakfast was specially prepared for us which was lovely. Dinner in the restaurant was superb. And the hotel is very dog friendly, first time that any accommodation I stayed in provided a proper dog bed.
