The main street, Nordre Gate is 5 minutes’ walk away. The hotel is locaced aside of the train station out of the downtown but is very quiet and calm. The other side of the hotel faces for an old shipyard. A nice restaurant is just next to the hotel.

Best Western Plus Hotel Bakeriet’s rooms have modern bathrooms, as well as cable TV channels. The hotel has a cute old-style atmosphere. It is in a quiet location, and no noise disturbed my sleep. I found the bed and the pillows extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby! The shower room was rather spacious, unusual for Norway
