Delorenzo Studio Apartments offers a heated outdoor pool, on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. Studios come with a kitchenette, laundry facilities and a private bathroom. I felt like a king. Loved the location. Great places to walk.

Tides Hotel is located on the banks of Maitai River, in the centre of Nelson. It features a restaurant, a heated outdoor pool and free WiFi access. On-site parking is available. The staff I met in reception and breakfast room were very helpful! Two problems ,too big bicycle (rented), early departure before breakfast were solved with a smile. Bicycle swapped within minutes and breakfast in containers by the sweet "breakfast hostess" Also the reception woman helped me book my transport from Nelson to Kaiteriteri. Allinall superb staff! Beautiful river-wiev from balcony.

Overlooking the Waimea Inlet, The Grand Arden Monaco Nelson is an English-style resort featuring 23 rooms as well as ample free parking and free WiFi. Room was nice & comfortable & clean. Great view over the pond. Love airplanes. Husbands a private pilot so watching them take off & land was great. Love the architecture of the buildings.
