Delorenzo Studio Apartments offers a heated outdoor pool, on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. Studios come with a kitchenette, laundry facilities and a private bathroom. The owners, Janet and Tim, are wonderful. They've been in business a long time, so have really thought of everything you could need, and have provided it. The space is bright and airy with a private garden and sitting room. Breakfast was excellent - different each day, and I had nice conversations with Janet and Tim each morning. They also provided helpful travel tips, both for exploring Abel Tasman, and for onward travel.

Tides Hotel is located on the banks of Maitai River, in the centre of Nelson. It features a restaurant, a heated outdoor pool and free WiFi access. On-site parking is available. Very clean, good view of the river and really friendly staff

Built in 1888, The Prince Albert Backpackers & Bar is a heritage building with free Wi-Fi, an onsite bar and restaurant and a cafe on weekdays Prince Albert Backpackers is a 5-minute walk from Nelson.... Clean, great service, good wifi.

Overlooking the Waimea Inlet, The Grand Arden Monaco Nelson is an English-style resort featuring 23 rooms as well as ample free parking and free WiFi. Good location, but not in Nelson (the location is actually Stoke). The restaurant next door at the Honest Lawyer was great, and our dinner at the Brick Eatery was terrific.
