Airlie Beach never fails to impress me, gateway to Whitsundays.
Airlie beach hotel is awesome for live music and fantastic food. Definitely recommend KCs too for their live music and awesome steaks.
Airlie lagoon is a great spot to spend an hour or three swimming or just lazing about.

Always a good trip to Airlie.
Always a good trip to Airlie. Weather was a bit wanky but otherwise great, plenty to see and do regardless. If you are keen on some outdoor and open water activities, Airlie is the place to be. Family-friendly with a great night life for the single crowd, there's something for everyone. Plenty of great places to explore, a variety of food options, and an overall great town for the general day to day. Living less than 2 hours away does make it a go-to for a quick getaway, and choices range from camping to hotels to Air BnB stays, there really is a place to suit everyone. Town is always vibrant and busy with something going on.

What a great place to visit.
What a great place to visit. The weather is great, the town is abuzz with great bars and restaurants. The Airlie lagoon is a great place for kids to swim. The Coral sea marina is a magic place to hang out at night to relax and enjoy some fine dining. The Garden Bar, Sorrento and the Rocks are great places to start.
Getting around Airlie is so easy. Taxis run constantly and are readily available. Most resorts run shuttles 3 to 4 times a day into the Airlie lagoon and airport transfers can be organised depending on the where you're staying.

I Need Airlie Beach!
I Need Airlie Beach! It has destressed me many times after extreme personal or work stress.
The view, the perfect water temps in unheated pools, the ten minute rain storms that give way to a perfect day.
It is better to stay at Airlie Beach, in my opinion, than on the islands, as they offer greater amenities and diversity, plus you still have to charter a boat from an Island or the mainland anyway. Tip for the island resorts: Offer discounted or all inclusive water charter packages and advertise it heavily, or find yourselves derelict facilities bought by a Chinese Company.
Always check the weather. Bad weather or Coral spawning night means poor water clarity.
Don't swim where the locals won't, due to crocs and Wear your Stinger suit. A box jellyfish came within a foot of me a week ago before I saw it and I have been snorkelling since 1985, spending countless hours and a total of four weeks camping on Lady Musgrave Island.
Don't book during the wet season if you are not prepared to be dissatisfied with a patch of bad weather. Do your research.
The location is the best thing about the Boathouse Apartments, which is right across the marina with beautiful views. Very close to the Airlie Beach (barely a 5-min walk) and the main central Airlie market. The check-in process was very smooth with the staff very accommodative and flexible should you be getting late (recommended that you inform the reception staff beforehand). The apartments are self-contained with all cooking, dining, etc. facilities in great shape. Highly recommended for short stays at Airlie.
This is the 3rd time I'm staying at Azure Sea! It's such a great place. A short walk from the Main Street of Airlie guarantees you amazing views of Airlie Beach. The views make up for the minor muscle burn you get from walking up the hill (but it also makes you feel better for indulging during your Airlie trip). The apartments are spacious, well-kept and contain everything you need. Most importantly, the beds are comfortable! We always enjoy our stay at Azure and will most likely be back!
Magnificent 5 star resort! The apartment and views were next level. Massive balcony overlooking the stunning marina, with 2 seperate sitting areas.
Huge apartment, which had actually been transformed from a 2 brm to 3 brm by converting the study area.
Just far enough out of town to be able to enjoy the solitude, but close enough to drive or even walk into the heart of Airlie Beach.
Highly recommend this property, I didn’t want to leave.
Staff very helpful and friendly and very good quality/ price rate. Affordable accomodation in Airlie Beach, as most of the accomodations are expensive and the place is quite average, so I find that paying big amount was not worth it. That’s why I chose Kipara. The hotel has also a very good kitchen to prepare dinner. The WC was OK. The Whitsundays are very nice, but Airlie has nothing much.
Excellent location on the main road of Airlie beach, close to everything! Hotel offers bag storage if you are heading onto a boat for a few days as well as bus/ airport transport if you need it. The rooms were lovely, everything you need, very clean and extremely comfortable beds!
we had 2 reservations to this hotel - one with jetstar (and the room was not very good - old and disappointed bathroom/toilet room 66) one with booking.com ( at the same price but very well equiped, modern - unfortunately we had injury with some glass on the floor - room 26)
The studio apartment was huge. About three times the size of a hotel room. The bathroom/shower were very spacious for a studio, and the balcony was big too. We loved the 2.5km walk into town along the boardwalk and did it several times a day. The pool area was really nice.
LOVE it! You guys are awesome! The Haven is an absolute gem. The attention to detail in this room is outstanding, a perfect retreat. We were looking for something a bit different than the generic hotels and Airbnbs and it’s a top-notch experience in every way.🙏❤️😇
We absolutely loved the location, the view from our room was perfect. The hotel is close to everything with an amazing restaurant downstairs the had a fantastic atmosphere , great food and the perfect location ! We had no idea just how amazing Airlie Beach is .
The actual facilities were wonderful and we didn’t spend much time in the room. The staff were amazing and friendly and brought food and drinks out to us by the pool. Mantra is about a 5-10 minute taxi drive to the Airlie Beach centre, which is about $10-$12.
The location of the hotel. Right at the centre. Equidistant to everything right from the pick up bus stop, airlie beach, shops, restaurants. you name it and you have it right in front of you.
Modern, very comfortable, fabulous view from the balcony and so close to Airlie Beach shops restaurants and the beautiful boardwalk:) well equipped kitchenette as well.
Coral sea resort is one of the nicest resorts at Airlie Beach and a close walk to all the restaurants at the marina. The resort has a great pool and sand area
