Nice town, half way from Baku adn incredible places like Shahdag or Khinalug. The town is vibrant, with many restaurants and ammenities, and landscapes are incredible. You can´t miss the Jewish quarter.

We went horse back riding, and we went to the huge waterfall there but i don’t advice anyone to climb the peak of the waterfall mountain , although we did so but it was very risky speacially in winter. There’s not much to do in Quba but we drove from Quba to shahdag which is just a one hour drive or maybe less. And Shahdag was absolutely amazing, the chairlifts we unclosed and we went shooting as well and skiing and we road the zip line , it was absolutely amazing.

    Rooms are spacious and comfy.

Rooms are spacious and comfy. Showers and bathrooms are excellent. beds extremely comfy and rooms in general are luxurious. Breakfast has huge variety and caters for most people but no pork products such as bacon etc. Spa is great, there are plenty of indoor activities such as bowling, kids disco, games area etc. Outside there is a child's playground area with a variety of equipment. 100m away there is a picnic area set aside in the forest. The 18 hole championship golf course is outstanding, the staff at the Golf Club are some of the most welcoming, helpful and friendly staff you will encounter at any golf resort anywhere in the world. Le Chalet restaurant set on a hill overlooking the resort is an excellent dining choice with a wide and varied menu cooked fresh, a great selection of beverages from soft drinks through to upmarket whiskies and Wines. · I didn't like the fact that I booked through my usual booking agent booking.com and paid an additional 40azn per night. The reception staff , though more efficient than on previous visits are still so MISERABLE !! does it hurt to greet guests with a welcoming smile ?

Amazing scenery, the area is fantastic for getting away from it all. Hotel is grand but a little shabby, but still great value for money. Food at the Chalet restaurant was amazing, although timing of the services could be improved, i.e don't bring main course 2 mins after entrée. if you like golf, the golf course is an amazing course, nearly always empty. The Golf Club staff are fantastic, helpful, kindly, respectful, couldn't do enough for us. Reception staff at hotel were poor. Bell Hop, was a waste of time and energy. Ample car parking, serviced luxury Villlas of all sizes in amazing settings. Fresh Mountain AIr, all the facilities you would expect with a luxury resort though its looking tired and only 5 yrs old !!
