It was a beautiful inn in a lovely setting. We had a nice room with twin beds but would have preferred a large double bed. Our reservation said twin beds or double. All the other rooms had double beds…we looked.
The hosts were super and the breakfast was delicious. We could walk the entire town from this location.

We had a phenomenal stay at this beautiful historic inn. The room was lovely and very cozy, resulting in 2 nights of very good sleep. Lisa, The hostess made 2 different creative and filling. Lisa gave up very good touring sites advice. Would stay here again with no hesitation. Recommend this inn very highly to others.

Beautiful place. A must see destination. We only had one night and should have stayed longer. Lots of places to see. Lots of places to eat but it’s busy with tourists. We went a little off the beaten track away from the sea front and found some less busy eateries.DEIRDREIreland - 8.0Scored 8.0
The most interesting item was the Fisheries Museum.
The most interesting item was the Fisheries Museum. Most of the restaurant served fried foods but we ate at The Lincoln Street Food Store which was very good. We found that the restaurants were expensive for the type of food they offered. To get around in Lunenburg was fairly easy, there are a lot of hills. I think that if we made another trip to Lunenburg we would try to get into the Art Galleries, most were closed when we were there. We would avoid most of the restaurants and try to find one that didn't serve only fried foods.

Loved this town!
Loved this town! Seeing and walking aboard the Bluenose II was great. Took the haunted tour - highly recommend. Great shopping for souvenirs but also for local artist's work. Hope to visit again!Wendy Y CrawfordCanada - 10Scored 10

Our visit to Lunenbur greatg was at the end of an 11 day tour of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We definitely saved the best for last. Would have liked to have had one more day in Lunenburg. All of the restaurants were great. we ate at the Half Shell Oysters, The South Shore Fish Shack and the Smoke Pitt BBQ. Just wanderin up and down the dock side and through town looking at all the different houses was entertaining.JimUnited States

The common room and breakfast room are comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious with a luxurious spa bathroom. The whole place is spotless and the breakfast simply delicious. The property is relatively close to old city centre, it is possible to walk to restaurants and museums. This was one of the best B&Bs we stayed in Nova Scotia and we would definitely recommend staying there.

Our party included our two children and they enjoyed the proximity this stay was to the little shops, bookstore and boats. We’d definitely recommend a stay at Smugglers Cove!

We had a nice view of the water , comfortable bed with great linen, huge bathroom with double vanity, fluffy white towels and a great jacuzzi tub. The room was clean and coffee and water were provided. This place is centrally located and is a walk able distance to the harbor front, main street and restaurants. Highly recommend this B&B if you plan a visit to Lunenburg.
