Good location close to harbour,beach. The hotel has small pool. Very good restaurant within 5 minutes walk. We had good size studio with full kitchen and walkout door to the harbour and excellent view. The room was a bit outdated but functional and clean. Definitely will come back.

One can feel the owner took a lot of thinking into the design of the rooms and the surrounding sitting areas. For people staying there for ski trips and trail walks, it is a good location. Thornbury is a very nice and quiet town. Great breakfast places within walking distance.

I would even go as far as say that many hotel have worse rooms than this place. Staff was also really helpful, for example provided us with a kettle upon request.

If you’re someone who likes taking cute photos, this place had lots of opportunities. Loved the fire pit, I imagine in the summer this would be a great way to meet people. I like the idea of the space creating a community like a hostel whereas traditional hotels don’t really have that.
