Very nice and convenient hotel. A perfect stop by while travelling through Germany, beautiful location, just a single mile away from the motorway and yet suddenly a detached, quiet and secluded world; with a bit of imagination a far roar of the motorway can be compared to an ocean or simply ignored. Spacious room, perfectly clean, very comfortable bed, good - although without exaggeration - breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff.
Set at the foot of the Weser Mountains, this modern hotel offers free Wi-Fi and fine cuisine. It is located near the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial in Porta Westfalica.

This was my fourth stay in just over a year. The location for me was just right, a couple of miles off the A2 autobahn in a quiet village with a large carpark for my car and trailer.
The lady who runs the hotel is lovely, friendly, and welcoming. I arrived on Sunday evening and unfortunately the restaurant was not open, however she recommended a restaurant a short walk away and the meal was very nice.
The next time I stayed, I was able to eat in the restaurant at the princenhof and the fare was wholesome and tasty schnitzel and ziegurner sauce with mushrooms.
The accommodation is good B&B standard rather than hotel grade and is very clean and warm. The ensuite shower is powerful, and the small double bed is comfortable for a night or two. It's not a criticism, but I would like to have a kettle in the room for tea and coffee anytime.
I would happily recommend the Princenhof to anyone visiting the area or breaking up a longer journey.
Continental breakfast is included and plentiful with the addition of a boiled egg.
I would certainly stay again if, in the area.

Very clean, comfortable bed, hot water goes immediately, quiet place, big TV with Netflix, kitchen with microwave, fridge, plates and all necessary equipment, beautiful decorations, flowers, small terrace, personal parking slot in front of the door, hairdryer, towels, clean bed linen, many electricity sockets to charge your phone, laptop, etc, couple of board games and markers with paper for children to draw.
Located on the 1st floor of the the house, it is not a separate house and people live on the ground floor. But you don't hear any sounds.
The room was very generous in space, and the bed, large and comfortable. Everything was very clean, if a little spartan. WiFi was excellent, and there was generous desk space for laptop use. The TV was modern with good reception. The decor of the hotel might be described as dated, but if you like period features, in this case late 1960's it is a classic. In the UK it would deserve listed status. Breakfast was fairly standard, but there was no other catering available. Other food needed to be taken in the town or collected as a takeaway.
Owner was really nice and helpful, gave us some advice about local restaurants etc. Hotel is located in a very nice part of Porta Westfalica, with nice views towards the Emperor William Monument. Apartment we had was great size (3 bedrooms and a lounge room), all windows have outside shutters so it can be nice and dark/quiet during the night.
There is no kitchen in the apartment, but few restaurants/shops nearby.
Good selection of tasty foods for breakfast in the hotel.
This is an apartment in a small apart-hotel and restaurant block, located in a rather coutryside looking area. We stopped overnight on our way form Amsterdam to Berlin. The apartment suits well for a nice stay. The restaurant downstairs is worth visiting (although I don´t think there are many alternatives in the proximity). At least they do not exploit this fact, the food was good. Very nice and super clean bathroom. Altogether the place makes looks to be brand new.
Cozy apartments with terrace. Free parking. The best WiFi internet which I ever met in hotels and apartments in Germany. Hosts are pretty friendly, ready to assist with everything. There is everything necessary for comfort staying in apartments. We strongly recommend it to stay
A very nice private hotel in a quiet place; charming and very helpful owner, who speaks fluent English. No problem with late arrivals, possibility of warming some food, good breakfast, parking in front of the establishment.
Hotel located close to highway exit. Quiet place to rest. Lovely staff support in case of late arrival - thoughtful, smart & easy!!! I like a lot such approach. Recommed it!
Excellent Breakfast in a special room. We also had a very nice dinner meal at the hotel. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Great parking facility at the hotel.
