I would like to share my experience at Hacienda Cocuyo, which was truly amazing. The peaceful and serene ambiance, combined with the breathtaking natural surroundings, made it an unforgettable stay. The rooms were fantastic and comfortable, and the fresh mountain air and sea breeze were invigorating. The restaurant had a varied menu, offering both local and international basic dishes, although if you are looking for extensive local cuisine and more variety, it's just a 10-minute drive away. The locally-made breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start the day, while evenings spent by the campfire near the pool with a cocktail, wine, or local beer were magical. The staff at Hacienda were incredibly service-minded and helpful, making the whole experience even more special. I also appreciated the ECO-friendly approach of the place, with no lifts, no TV or AC in the room, pure back to basics and one with nature! Overall, I would highly recommend Hacienda Cocuyo to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and memorable vacation.

Firstly the owner was our highlight of staying here. Jonatan is a wonderful, friendly and helpful person and a well traveled individual who was lovely to talk to. We only stayed for one night but in that time he made us feel special. He brought us beers, ordered us food and delivered it right on the sand of the beach. Beach is just a 15 min walk down the road and it is INCREDIBLE. He made things incredibly easy for us. Rooms were nice and cool, AC worked wonders as most places in the area didn't have this. WiFi worked good, however it can be spotty as you are in the jungle. The property is new so there are a few things on the grounds under construction. Soon there will be a pool and bar which will round out the place nicely. Would definitely stay again if back in the area. PRO TIP: Bring plenty of cash with you as there is no cell service and nobody takes cards as payment in the area.
