If there is a kinder,more helpful gentleman in the world we have yet to meet him. Expecting a cold start to our trip we needed to shed some of our clothing. He volunteered to look after it for us. He advised us on our next day,s route. He looked after our bikes in his garage. The hotel is perfectly clean and modern and located right in the middle of town near restaurants and bars.

The staff were superb and made allowances for my very poor Spanish. The location was very dramatic although the weather could have been better, but this is outside the control of the hotel. I was surprised that dinner was not served until 20:30 hours and some of the explanations of the dishes was a little confusing in translation for example the vegetable soup with veal could have been better described as a veal and vegetable casserole.

A small and cozy albergue. Simple but effective, everything clean and in a good condition. Friendly and responsive staff. A good selection of food available for a great price. Easy and quick access to Picos de Europa.
