The staff was lovely, they created a very welcoming environment. The dinner was fantastic, the most and best that I ate on the whole Camino. We all sat family style, but with spaces in between so you could talk as much or as little with the people around you. I appreciated having a room/bathroom to myself. At this point in the Camino I was very much over staying in Alburgues so this was a welcome change.

The staff was helpful giving me another room because the one I was assigned was next to some construction and therefore really loud. The rooms were clean, had air conditioning and heating, and windows, but they are pretty basic. The shower is warm and very powerful, which is nice. Breakfast was pretty good too, a few choices including fresh fruit, eggs, sausages, charcuteries and yogurt, cereal, granola etc. The juice was not fresh, which was the only disappointment.
This charming hotel is located in Santiago de Compostela’s old town, next to Plaza de Abastos Market and 300 metres from the cathedral. It has a garden with views of Belvís Convent.
