This is a perfect country escape to experience rural Spain. I loved the 14th century building, tiny chapel, lovely grounds, towers with ramparts, friendly hosts and the chickens. We took a room in the main building (there are also separate building accommodation). We had a separate bathroom which may be shared if there are other guests. We felt like we had the whole floor to ourselves - cooked in the full kitchen, dined with 180 degree views. close access to great towns and sites.

Value for money, good location. Expected a smaller room, but at the end size was okay, spacious enough. Clean and everything is new just a short walk away from the old town but a stone away from the shopping street. We are happy to recommend.

Our stay at the Salles hotel was perfect from the very start. The check-in staff were exceptionally helpful and efficient, and the rooms were superb, reminding us of Malmaison in terms of room style. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms with showers were very good.
We ate very early (around 4.30pm) in the hotel restaurant, as one member of the family was flying that night, with the rest of us departing in the morning. We don't often have good experience of hotel restaurants, but this was superb. All four of us ate a main meal with some delicious patatas bravas on the side, and with drinks the bill came to just over 60 euros. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly, and our entire experience was exceptional.
We'd all recommend this hotel to anyone travelling via Girona Airport - a five-minute drive away.

We loved the hotel. Our room was modern, spacious and clean. The hotel was very central and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the breakfast which we enjoyed and there was enough choice. We didn’t use the pool as we came out of season.

Fantastic hotel. Spotlessly clean. Staff lovely. Location perfect. The lounge room is an added bonus as we heated our tortilla for lunch in the microwave and enjoyed with some local wine.
