We stayed for a short break of one week in November for the Romeria del Milagro (or the Sardine Festival as the ex pat community call it). People camp out on the beach, there are music marquees, free sardines (hence the name), horses, carriages, market stalls, and a small carnival. The whole place is very busy over the weekend of the festival throughout the day and night, and its great to be a part of it. BUT, be aware that outwith this weekend in the wintertime Bolneuvo is very, very quiet. There are some bars and restaurants open, but not many. The Oasis is lovely and is opposite the beach, they have a tapas, pizza etc menu, and often have entertainment. Elliott's is good for a very well priced Menu del Noche. You will need a car to go further afield, but can walk around Bolneuvo easily. Its great if you want peace and quiet, but not if you like things a little more lively on your holiday.
The location was just perfect. Just across the street and you are right on the most beautifull beach.
The water gets deep pretty fast on the beach right across from the hotel. But a bit further up the hill and then down a footpath is a small beach with the clearest water I have ever seen.
The hotel pools are also perfect, one for the entire family and another for adults who prefer a bit more quiet time.
A short walk to a lovely beach, great restaurants and bars. The hotel was welcoming, tastefully furnished and with pleasant staff and a first class restaurant (Manduca). The suite we had was comfortable with a sitting area and small kitchenette with a kettle, microwave and fridge. There was a nice little balcony to sit in the evening. The Bar Colonial next to the hotel provides a good breakfast.
I have stayed in very many hotels/apartments with bookings this is with the best amazing location on the beach large rooms huge picture windows mostly in traditional style with a very modern bathroom located in the quiet older part of bolnuevo Close to cafes spar and bus stop perhaps the crowning glory is a large terrace off the front with amazing views , I would definitely return
Everything, we were staying for The Lady of Miracle Pilgrimage in Bolnuevo. The hotel rooms were spotlessly clean.
The arrival at the reception desk, was dealt with smiles, efficiently and courtesy, by the lovely young lady who welcomed us. The hotel atmosphere was so welcoming.
Thank you everyone,highly recommended. 👏👏
The apartment was absolutely immaculate and decorated to the highest standards. The situation was also perfect, as we are frequent visitors to Bolnuevo.
Constant contact throughout from the owners and keyholder and complimentary water and a bottle of wine... Come on, what more could you ask for!!!
Excellent location opposite the beach in Bolnuevo. The appartement was super comfortable and is situated in a wonderful 'oasis' garden. Peaceful. Great that there was a private parking space. Fast internet so we could also do some work. In the Oasis Cafe they serve the best coffee of Murcia :-)
From start to finish are trip was 5 star..
Monica and Johan are hosts were so attentive..
The location is incredible in the heart of Bolnuevo a few minutes walk down to the beach.
I will be back next year.
We have fantastic trip.
Better than many much more expensive hotels. Kitchenette in room, comfortable chairs, excellent shower. Good choice of breakfasts in café. Easy walk to the beach and the Gredas rock formations. Coastal path beyond is wonderful.
This apartment is in a secured site with two pools and gardens. You get your own parking space on site and it is right by the beautiful beach of Bolnuevo. The apartment was spacious. Our dog lived it.
The location was great, close to the beach. The hotel had a nice pool and bar/restaurant. The rooms are suitable for pets - we travelled with two cats.
