Meticulously clean and very comfortable. Close to a nice pizza restaurant and a couple of flights of stairs from the Camino.

Offering rooms with single beds and free WiFi, Albergue Rosalia / Pilgrim Hostel is situated in Castrojeriz in the Castile and Leon Region, and on the Santiago de Compostela Pilgrimage Route.
Hotel room was clean. Nice little balcony but could only use it to dry our clothes. Our room was western exposure and became extremely hot. Unbearable . I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. Hotel was basically empty and they could have been thoughtful enough to put us on Northern or Eastern exposure. If I had know I would have asked for the western or eastern side.
We arrived by bike, so security for them was well taken care of. The owner and his wife were extremely kind and helpful in sorting out our onward journey. Castrojeriz is a delightful, ancient village - lots of charm and a warm welcome for visitors. Can thoroughly recommend the "One hundred Leagues" if you, like us, are following the Camino de Santiago. Well worth a stop.
Brand new boutique hotel, build on the grounds of the ruins of a convent. The facility and rooms are completely modern and very casual chic. Large grounds behind the hotel, there is a restaurant, which I did not try but the menu sounded quite interesting. They have a self serve mini snacks, wine and beer alcove. A very tranquil and beautiful stay, highly recommended.
The location was excellent, right in the middle of Castrojeriz, very near the Camino. They have a restaurant on the premises, delicious food, and we were able to get coffee and pastries early the next morning so that we could start the Camino early. Very nice and efficient staff. We had a spacious room, with a view of the terrace. All very agreeable.
Amazing new albergue just at the entrance of Castrojeriz. The owner was super friendly and welcoming and helped organise a taxi back to Burgos for my husband. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Castrojeriz is a lovely town with loads of history - possibly one of my favourite stops on the Camino so far!
Owner was very genuine and friendly made everyone feel welcome and at home. Lovely rooms and patio. Close to town. Very friendly locals and pilgrims. Owner went out of his way to help. Very hard working and you could tell his heart was in the Hotel and we would love to come back and stay longer.
Located right at the end of Castrojeriz, Rosalia is a great pilgrim hostel to mingle with other pilgrims. It doesn't take long for Rosalia fill up. I enjoy my stay here. Javier is a great host and the breakfast was perfect for the next day's walk!
The hotel is perfectly located in a cute square with a bar and grocery store (and medical for those on the Camino). It is a modern well appointed hotel in a beautiful old building. The ladies running it are helpful and lovely!
The Emebed Posada hotel is absolute perfection. From the lovely proprietor, Margarite to the beautifully designed rooms, artwork and dining space, it is an exceptional property. It was a calm and relaxing experience.
This hotel is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in - the grounds, the decor, the quality of materials, the scents, the food, the staff - everything was just stunning.
