Excellent place. Clean rooms, really friendly and warm treatment by the owner and workers, generous breakfast, a really beautiful terrace (although I didn't stay there much due to the cold), and at the restaurant the menu was as surprisingly original as it was delicious. 10/10

Collbato is a great base for hiking some of the quieter...
Collbato is a great base for hiking some of the quieter trails in Montserrat. We hiked to the monastery twice along different routes and got a taxi back. The village itself is very pretty and peaceful, although bear in mind that many of the restaurants may not be open if you visit mid-week outside the peak season. Stopped at the grocery store to get a snack to take to room and get directions . I nice man led us in his van to the point where we started seeing signs for the hotel. Spectacular view of Monserrat.
