Clean and bright recently renovated apartment with comfortable bed, it was exactly what we needed for a 2 days stopover on our long drive. Nice dining area and a place to sit outside. Communication with the owner is easy and clear, he provided us with everything we needed. The town is so small and quiet in winter, so it looked like we had it all to ourselves. Railroad is near, it’s not a busy one at all, so it didn’t bother us. There’s no parking options inside the restricted area, where the flat is, but there’s a parking in 100m, it’s free of charge in winter. Warning: google is not quite reliable in the area, at first it lead us to some dead end, but his second suggestion was ok. Our advice is to communicate with the owner in advance and follow his instructions. Totally positive experience.

Everyone is going to have their own perspective, but for me and my wife, this was simply a lovely hotel, in a very central location, with a fab pool, beautiful sun bathing/sun loungers, outside bar (which sadly shut at 8pm, but I think it's because it's still not high season), and our room overlooked the pool (you pay a little extra). The main building is stooped in history and the rooms were stunning. And to finish it all off, the breakfast is simply outstanding, with choices for everyone, with a fab eating hall overlooking the pool to eat within. We couldn't have found a better place in my opinion, and I would recommend it to everyone, but I can only give you my/our opinion based on our own personal experience. Location is fantastic. Close enough to the action of the bars and restaurants but just far enough that at the end of the evening it’s nice and quiet. The staff are lovely and the cleaning staff are the best. The rooms are always spotlessly cleaned.
El Cid is a 1-star establishment situated on the centre of Sitges, just 250 metres from the beach offering en suite accommodation, breakfast buffet included and swimming pool with sun terrace.
