Total Luxury! Room was amazing, bath was amazing, food prepared by Marcos and Patricia amazing. I was on the Camino couldn’t find a bed and walk 6km here for the night and back the next day. You may also be able to get a taxi, It was totally worth the money and the walk. Loved my stay. I was not the only pilgrim being pampered that night. Thank you.

This hostal was very comfortable and clean. The host was very helpful for check in. They have a coffee machine, vending machine and a little store-type area to buy some snacks.
This charming, rustic property is over 100 years old and offers bright, cozy rooms. La Aldea Encantada has a peaceful setting in the Riojilla Burgalesa region and features a restaurant.

This is a family run B&B and they couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Our dinner meal was the first home-cooked meal I had walking the Camino. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I had a wonderful night's sleep. We shared a bottle of wine sitting next to a log fire. It was perfect.

Arrived on a Saturday afternoon so very quiet and only one local bar open , the hotel had a cafe. Very quiet village , shame about the huge freight lorries obviously using the road through the village as a cut through.

There is nothing to do there, then just relax.
There is nothing to do there, then just relax.
There is a shop, where you can find the most necessary things there. The restaurant also has some choice, and the vegans would have to do with french fries and a salad, which is not that bad.
I have seen that people do not stop there much on the way to Santiago. The path from Villafranca was well-marked, you just have to follow the path, even though I was most nervous about walking the section from there, it worked well.

A fantastic historic building in the old pilgrims hospital. We were the first pilgrims staying in the hotel for the season, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They also spoke very good English. This place was an expected gem along the Camino.
This is a stunning hotel. The historic building and then furniture are both beautiful and worth walking around the building to enjoy. The breakfast was fantastic and the best we had on our travels so far. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Christine was such a kind sweet host. Lovely clean albergue . Room with 2 twin beds was good. Shower great . Tiny grocery store across the street . Not much cooked with some things and had a lovely dinner in the kitchen with 3 other people . Perfect .
Amazing place! The couple that owns it were so amazing and they cook the best food ever! They made me feel at home. It is my favorite albergue so far on my Camino Frances! When I do this again, I’ll be staying here again!
Beautiful old hotel right on the Camino. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very pleasant bar area to have a drink. Lovely view from the room. Great value for money and tasty food. Had a secure place to store our bikes
Right on the route of the Camino with a good restaurant next door (owned by the family that own the hotel). The owner was lovely - bright, friendly and helpful.
