The location is very convenient for travelling north. Parking is easy. We were given a twin room, although we booked a double. This room had no wardrobe and only 1 light working in the main room. We went back to reception to change for a double room. This room was an improvement as it had 2 lights working in the main room but only 1 in the bathroom. Both rooms were jaded with wallpaper ripped non matching light fittings and a large amount of tiny polystyrene balls on the floor and shelving surface. We have stayed here for many years and we were particularly disappointed because the menu del dia was no longer available and the general menu was lacking in freshness of days gone by. The grill restaurant was vast in area. We were not greeted in a friendly manner, infact it took some time for the staff to appear at all. Sad to say for the extra E20 per night it is no longer a favourite stay and we will be looking for an alternative hotel for future trips. Such a shame.

The location is a bit out of town but the room was nice with a little garden area and secure parking. The food in the restaurant was not what we expected, the staff was so hard working but under pressure as not a lot of staff were around. It is a shame because the location of the hotel is pretty but a few things need to be sorted out, better quality of food and more staff training to help the ones that were working so hard.

We just booked in the afternoon and had a great room, facing the city and the cathedral. For us it was an easy walk into the city. There is free public parking west of the hotel. The breakfast was good.
