What I like about Omena Hotels is that it is a self check-in hotel. I like that it is very efficient. No need to wait for the reception. You can just go straight to your room. I love it! The room is very functional for me, I like that it has a microwave and the TV works well (which can be a problem most of the time). The sockets also have a USB port ready, so if you don't have an adapter with you, there's no problem.

The breakfast was a bit meh. It was a very normal hotel budget breakfast, and nothing outstanding. Pori has great fishermen, why not have some local specialty there?

Very good place to stay, lots of room and great placement. Kind host (Jarl) and good communication! Provided both towel for showering, coffee, and a washing machine/drying rack. Even a TV, in case you like some evening viewing. Great for a longer stay, close to the city center, and not far from the train station.
I'd like to thank Jarl for the pleasant experience.

Pori is a lovely city, excellent parking facilities, well laid out center square with eating facilities.
The historic buildings are very easy to walk to, all close to each other so good to get around them all.
We spent time in Pori center on a Saturday, which was very quiet, not many people around and most of the shops closed, even the Tourist Center was closed on both Saturdays and Sundays, which was not very helpful for us, we really wanted maps etc.

It is under construction.
It is under construction. The halls have black boards that are broken and loose. The elevator didn’t work to the side our room was in so took another one and had to walk miles of halls to get to our room on 3rd floor. Depressing stay!!

The mausoleum in Pori is stunning - bizarre art, and amazing architecture. There's an excellent English guide at https://www.sigridjuselius.fi/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/20200811-mausoleum-broschyr-eng.pdf. But outside peak season, it is only open Sundays 12 - 5pm.
The art gallery was also fun if restricted when I was there. But although pleasant enough there isn't really a huge amount to detain you (apart from the mausoleum, which is worth the trip)

Pori is a a quiet friendly place - very good for a short stay like doing a festival or take you bike for a ride. Its a middle class city
People are open and friendly. If you start a conversation they will appreciate and its easy to have a nice chat or even exchange opinions.
If you go out for a meal be in in time. All restaurants close very early in the evening !

Pori is simply amazing place to visit.
Pori is simply amazing place to visit. I would say that it is one of the best cities in Finland. It has a beautiful and clean sandy beach which is rare to find in Finland. There is also a big and beautiful park located in the middle of the town which I would highly recommend everyone to visit with your family and friends. Pori has everything which will surprise you. I would highly recommend everyone to visit Pori.
Cozy and comfortable hotel. Up-to-date rooms. Very convenient parking garage with easy and clear access by car from the street (that the entrance is on the same side as main entrance to reception - not always the case in many other places as we found out driving around), also one can go up from garage directly to rooms' floor with the key.
Very helpful and greeting personnel. Rooms are clean. All our extra bed requests were ready at check-in and in correct rooms. Breakfast is very good by selection and by quality of food.
I don't know why people are complaining about the lack of outlets in the reviews. My room had six outlets and one in the bathroom. The problem is I only had one charger.
I almost cried when feeling the cheap toilet paper in the holder. Luckily I found a roll of a more premium brand paper on the shelf.
The whole experience was ok+, beats a standard room at scandic and is cheaper.
Thanks a lot to Jani who met us at the train station and took to the apartment in his car. The apartment is very clean, cosy, has all you need for a comfortable stay. There is a supermarket just opposite of the apartment to buy breakfast items. Really enjoyed staying in this apartment. If we come again to Pori, we’ll definitely stay here again.
The place was very cozy and comfortable. I liked so much sitting in the evening on the sofa, seeing the snowy landscape outside. There was everything needed and the location was also perfect to go out for a walk in the town or in the park or get a bus to the seaside. Loved staying in Pori, it's such a wonderful town.
Breakfast was a basic hotel breakfast; nothing exciting but good enough. The location of the hotel is pretty good: it was easily accessible by car, walking distance from everything and we were able to get a free hotel parking. Beds were comfortable and room was warm.
Beautiful apartment with everything you need. This is right in the heart of Pori so walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.
It has a sauna which we loved and used many times. It was a perfect little home away from home.
Very comfortable, cozy and clean home. Situated in a great location in Pori. A perfect choice for a nice visit in town. The host is very polite and helpful, and overall our stay was very enjoyable here. Kiitos!
Breakfast was good, hotel room was big. Staff was super nice. We were visiting offseason so nothing much happening.
Hotel was pretty old, but overall good experience, would like to visit again @ season time.
The hotel was clean, and well equipped, the room was very nice and big, and it had everything we needed. We could also use the kitchen and leave our food there.
