Very friendly and helpful host. Nice relaxed breakfast and the perfect situation just outside Calais allowed speedy drive to the port with no traffic jam to cause delay. small town nearby gave a chance to have an evening meal.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and very tastefully furnished. The welcome cocktail was a wonderful surprise, and the breakfast basket was lovely. Views of the lake were fabulous, both from the garden and the apartment. To top it all, the bed was extremely comfortable and we had a great night's sleep.

Location - just a short drive to the chunnel. In a quiet and peaceful location. Dog friendly with a nice bit of enclosed garden. Lovely bathroom, but the drainage in the shower needs to be checked. Very comfortable bed, with a new mattress. Nice big tv. Fully equipped kitchen.
The host was very friendly and helpful. Wouldn't haystack to stay again.

Generally the property was clean, modern and at first sight seemed amazing, however it turned out to be very impractical all round - see Dislikes! The jacuzzi was the best thing about the place, although the lid was very heavy and we were not able to put it back on. 2 bikes were provide which we did not use (the property is advertised as for 4 persons, but I guess only 2 get bikes!)
