Having made the last minute decision to stay over night rather an push through to our destination, this hotel not just looked like it did in the pics (modern, comfortable, and above all clean - esp, the bathrooms), but the customer service was exceptional. thank you for an unexpected and wonderful surprise!

Great location to break up journey - minutes from motorway. Spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Restaurants, supermarket and boulangerie within walking distance. Will definitely stay at Hotel Akena again!

Pre-covid, that's three or four times a year. We have been using the hotel for probably twelve to fifteen years. We also appreciate the freshly cooked food.
