Absolutely lovely house, very clean, very comfortable, easy to find within a quiet housing estate. Lovely little children's playground on the green area outside the house.
House is well equipped and there is an excellent fish and chip shop with a short walk.
The host had supplied fresh milk and tea, coffee and general condiments

The Chilterns turned out to be a lovely area for a Spring stay, especially if you like woodlands, walking and wild flowers. There were countless good places to eat – we chose The Oak in Aston Clinton, where the food was super, and a takeaway Chinese meal from China Water, which was exceptionally good and not at all expensive. There was plenty to do for non-wakers as well – the museum in Aylesbury is very interesting, for example.

Aylesbury has a lot to offer with a good town centre and outdoor market stalls.
There is a well laid out theatre and the cinema, they are both in walking distance from the centre.
Aylesbury is clean. It is mainly a flat city so it's a good place to walk.
There's a great selection of schools fir all ages..they have great scores from the education department.
The worse thing is the number of roundabouts but it helps with road safety looking at the statistics.

What a beautiful place.
What a beautiful place. So much going on with the theatre, markets, shops, bars, restaurants. The place was buzzing with an incredible ambiance for arts and culture.
It has a diverse community and the locals are so friendly. The David Bowie statue didn’t disappoint. I cannot wait to return for a weekend.

I was brought up in Aylesbury but have not lived there for about 30 years. The place has expanded considerably and every person we spoke to - 6 companies - all said that it had expanded too fast and badly lacked amenities... Doctors/Dentists/ Schools etc
3 groups said that whilst housing was a bit cheaper than London, many workers used Aylesbury as a commuter dormitory.
Personally I cannot comment as I am not there long enough

Room was lovely and would recommend as an overnight stay.
Room was lovely and would recommend as an overnight stay. Would not recommend to eat or drink here. Food poor, quite cold and definitely no atmosphere. We were a party of 6 for evening meal - no one else eating. And only 4 others in the bar this was a Saturday night in town centre on the last weekend in November with Christmas round the corner! Says it all really!!

Nice to see another U.K. market town.
Nice to see another U.K. market town. Older buildings around the church. Forget the eatery chains, visit the Nags Head which has a good selection of ales and reasonably priced food in pleasant surroundings.
Such elegance, beauty and history! We wish we could’ve spent more than three days at the extraordinary Hartwell House. The entire staff is incredible, but a special shout out goes to John, Ethan and Matthew.
Dinner was delicious and perfectly proportioned, the massage and pool area are of the highest quality, our room in the main house was spacious, and the grounds are heavenly.
We were in Aylesbury for a wedding and the hotel was really close to the venue and very good value for money. the staff were really friendly and accommodating, even booking us a taxi to the wedding after we had arrived. the room was spacious, airy and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. the area is lovely and it was very quiet as well. would definitely stay again.
Pretty Hotel in beautiful area, with lovely walks and park cafe behind Hotel. Good location to go exploring further - Waddesdon Manor a few miles away and Tring town and canal/reservoirs nearby. Hosts, Mike and Julie very welcoming and great breakfasts! As a single traveller felt very comfortable and relaxed. Already planning return visit!
Best thing about this property are the hosts. Very lovely and accommodating, making you feel comfortable and at home. The 10 min walk to the center along the water canal was a major plus also. There is a Tesco nearby open 24h from Monday to Saturday. I will definitely not look for anything else when I travel to Aylesbury.
The rooms were great and had everything you needed, full kitchen facilities and free tea/ coffee and breakfast supplies.
It was so peaceful round there and I liked that you could sit out in the sun and open windows fully and that the area was safe.
Recently stayed in this hotel with my partner whilst visiting my daughter, excellent location , excellent room , excellent staff & food making our stay a very enjoyable one , thankyou to all staff at the Bell Hotel , aylesbury
Fabulous place to stay, clean, relaxing and amazing friendly surroundings with beautiful garden. Mike and Julie were really wonderful hosts and provided great breakfast and beautiful afternoon tea. Would recommend this lodge ☺
Dinner was wonderful. Meals were great and the ambience of the venue was terrific. Dog friendly which was a huge plus. Would definitely re-book. Friendly atmosphere. Great staff. Quiet area. Couldn't ask for more really.
Great hosts. Great place to stay. Ample parking. Loved the extra touches such as fresh milk for the room, for tea/coffee, and some fresh fruit.
Will be my first choice to stay in the area when I next need to.
Clean and plenty of room beverage including biscuits Not now given at larger hotel groups . TV not working *see report below” Staff member attended with in 15minutes to rectify Well done👍
The property was private, in a quiet location and presented beautifully. I really enjoyed my stay and will certainly look to stay here again as I am in Aylesbury most months.
The hotel felt very welcoming, the outdoor seating area was really nice and inviting. We ended up having breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at what was on offer.
Very comfortable accommodation, Tracy is very friendly.
Breakfast selection is verry well stocked.
Pleasure to stay hoping to be back when in the area again
Excellent choice, I would recommend it. The only issue was the trafic noise, however I asked for another room at the back of the hotel and that sorted it out.
