Canterbury Cathedral Lodge, hotel in Greenhill

In the private and peaceful grounds of Canterbury Cathedral, this stylish lodge offers free Wi-Fi, hearty breakfasts and scenic views. Canterbury’s historic centre is a 2-minute walk away.

This is not only a wonderful location in terms of being on the cathedral grounds, it is also right in the middle of Canterbury, & everything is within a few minutes walk. Great breakfast, lovely helpful staff & we had a beautiful view from our room. The filtered water in the back foyer on the ground floor was great too. We attended a couple of different services at the cathedral & loved it.

Located on Wraik Hill on the edge of the seaside town of Whitstable, The Crescent Turner is a modern property that offers beautiful sea views .

A lovely secluded getaway, stunning views of estuary & countryside. Just far enough away from main road to be totally quiet and relaxing, but close enough to be connected. Photos on website do not do this gorgeous place justice. A really wonderful surprise to see how stunning it was.

Pilgrims Hotel, hotel in Greenhill

Situated within the Roman city walls of historic Canterbury’s centre, this family-run hotel dates back to the 16th century. It offers free WiFi, and a cosy, oak-beamed bar.

The property is straight across from The Marlowe Theatre where I was attending a show. Rooms are well presented and have everything that I needed. (Apart from a plug for sink/bath) I have stayed before in a different room and not sure if it had plugs either. A shame to have a bath that you can’t use and shower has to be held up so didn’t get showered till I returned home next morning. Reported to reception that there was no plug on leaving.
