This is not only a wonderful location in terms of being on the cathedral grounds, it is also right in the middle of Canterbury, & everything is within a few minutes walk. Great breakfast, lovely helpful staff & we had a beautiful view from our room. The filtered water in the back foyer on the ground floor was great too.
We attended a couple of different services at the cathedral & loved it.

The location was perfect. Lady at reception was very nice and we got an early check in. Close to everything we needed. Lovely and clean throughout. The room itself was beautiful and the perfect size for us.

A lovely secluded getaway, stunning views of estuary & countryside. Just far enough away from main road to be totally quiet and relaxing, but close enough to be connected. Photos on website do not do this gorgeous place justice. A really wonderful surprise to see how stunning it was.
Situated within the Roman city walls of historic Canterbury’s centre, this family-run hotel dates back to the 16th century. It offers free WiFi, and a cosy, oak-beamed bar.

The property is straight across from The Marlowe Theatre where I was attending a show. Rooms are well presented and have everything that I needed. (Apart from a plug for sink/bath) I have stayed before in a different room and not sure if it had plugs either. A shame to have a bath that you can’t use and shower has to be held up so didn’t get showered till I returned home next morning. Reported to reception that there was no plug on leaving.
