We booked the Hampton by Hilton for location as it’s 10 minutes drive from Buckinghamshire new university, or 40 minute walk,
The Eden shopping centre is 5 minutes in the car with plenty of cafes ,shops and cinema and games arcade and bowling arcade,
There are more shops and pubs outside the shopping centre where there is a Wetherspoons pub and a few other pubs and clubs
Lots to do in the area, would definitely recommend for university moving in weekend.

It was a lovely little town that felt almost sea side like. Everyone we interacted with were friendly and there were some really great food and drink options. A day trip to Marlow was also great, as was the park with the National Trust house. We only stayed a couple of days but could have stayed longer to explore further.

High Wycombe has one redeeming feature, you get to leave it. Luckily the Hamptom is at the top of the hill and has a great Waitrose next to it, far away from the town centre. Living local (ish) Wycombe has always been a hell hole.

We visited Bekonscot model village, just a 20 minute drive away and Hughenden House also about 20 minutes away. We did not see much of High Wycombe but he location was convenient for visiting the two sites

I have travelled with a friend for 2 days and we have spent a half day with kids in the beautiful Rye park , visited the National Trust and ventured out to Windsor the following day. Overall a pleasant stay in a sunny weather, however a car is absolutely necessary.
Poor restaurant choice in the town as well.
The single bed mattress was comfortable. The duvet provided a suitable sleeping temperature and the bed linen was white, fresh and clean, as was the bath towel. The actual location of the rooms were further along the West Wycombe Road towards town, away from the Buckingham Hotel reception, otherwise known as Contractors Guest House. There was a small kettle with tea bags, dried coffee, sugar and little cartons of cows' milk (prefer plant-based). A double lock on my room door gave me an added feeling of security.
Genuinely as a group of 3 we had absolutely zero issues with regards to the property. If you were being incredibly fussy the front door could do with glossing but that’s picking holes at best.
We had a spacious shower/bathroom. The TV was of average hotel room size. The actual room itself was perfect for a triple room.
Lastly we got the room for an unbelievably low price for the week and the breakfast was included.
The reception area is welcoming, as are the staff. The room was clean & and the beds were comfy. There is plenty of room near reception to sit and have a coffee or a drink from the bar. This area is newly furbished.
Breakfast was good, & plenty of tea & coffee in our room. Good choice of lighting in our room with Air con and opening window.
Staff are very professional and helpful.
Close to M40 but you wouldn't know it
Lovely room, enjoyed sleeping in a king size bed. Substantial breakfast choice of continental or English, really enjoyed making my own waffles they were yummy. The location of the hotel is ok but could do with a little more in the surrounding area its a bit remote only has a gym and Waitrose supermarket in close proximity,
Really nice, large room, has a boutique hotel feel and I appreciated the comfort of the room, particularly that it had its own iron and ironing board, which is becoming a rarity in my recent experiences. Very nice bathroom, felt quite luxurious compared to other hotels I've stayed in in the area.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was compact and functional. Everything worked and it was clean. En suite was nice
Some reviews had suggested the place was awful but I found it pleasant, cheap and functional- exactly what I wanted and more than I expected
It was a really nice property- close to High Wycombe. Parking was easy and the homeowner was lovely and very attentive when needed. The space looked newly done - it was attached to the main house but felt private as the entrance was as around the corner.
Location was great - near the M40 High Wycombe junction so easy access to motorway.
Price was good - I paid £39 for a single room for the night.
The chap who answered the door was friendly.
The bedding and towels were clean and fresh.
Great cooked breakfast. Rooms clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Hotel in a peaceful location with good parking facilities and the staff who looked after us were pleasant and attentive. Great Stay!
Room was very small and cramped , also found hairs in the shower ... only paid £32 per night but could have paid , ¢51 at the premier inn which I will do next time
There was really nothing that stood out as a positive. The basic amenities and cleanliness felt on par with a much cheaper budget hotel option like Travelodge.
was actually there for a private function which hotel did very well. Food quality/quantity very good both for function and breakfast. Bedroom very good
