Easy to find. Straight forward routes to and from Holford. Easy access to historic towns and villages. Close to the sea wirh with jurassic beaches. Great scenery with plenty of countryside walks. Not far away from the bigger towns, and tourist attractions. The plough pub is warm and friendly offering a good standard of food.

A lovely quiet location ideally situated for walking with many trails to choose from literally just outside the front door. Stunning surroundings and an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle. Relaxing, good standard of food in and around the local area but within easy reach of the main motorways. The Hood Arms, The Farmers Arms, The Lamb Inn are highly recommended. Walks to the Quantock Hills, Holford Combe and Kilve Beach are lovely walks to consider. Creams teas at the nearby Combe Hotel are also not to be missed.DavidUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Holford is a really pretty village and an ideal base to explore the Quantocks. The village has a friendly pub, The Plough Arms which offers good value food and there is a hotel, Combe House where we had afternoon tea in the garden.

The property was very good and the surroundings and furnishings were top quality. It would be very difficult to get to the hotel without transport as it is about a mile off the main road, down a single track road and very remote. If you like peace and quiet and solitude it would be ideal.
