It was quiet , private , very nicely decorated and clean , smelt lovely and the hosts were so helpful and prompt to respond- we had to bother them more than once which was our error no fault of theirs . Car parking space across the road and easy to get in and out of the building and the location is brilliant - close to shops , motorways etc

Prescot is amazing if you are going for the new playhouse experience, otherwise it does not have a lot to recommend it....we had an ok meal at Pinion, service very slow, and the meals were not quite right as ordered...it's about half an hour by train from Liverpool....

I would not recommend this hotel and it was most certainly not value for money. The photographs on the website were not an accurate representation of what we found the hotel to be. It was very dated and needs a major refurbishment. The hotel was dirty. The carpets were threadbare. In one of the rooms which I booked the toilet would not flush.
The breakfast was very limited especially on the Monday morning and not worth its cost.
The changing areas for the swimming pool had an unpleasant odour.

I was born in Prescot a long time ago and it was great to come back and see how things are in the town. Of course BICC, the cable company is long gone and I found the streets to be much narrower than I remembered. Some great developments and the Shakespeare Theatre currently under construction should give the town a big boost. Some of the buildings from the sixties looked really shabby and dated and Knowsley Council could do a much better job of keeping the town clean, almost felt as if nobody cared. Some of the pubs were really showing the worst for wear, the Dean's House was a real disappointment. The Watchmaker was the best hostelry by far, wide range of beers and food. Pity the Big Chippy was being renovated because I missed out on a steak and kidney pudding, chips and mushy peas and of course Rays the bakery still going strong with Pork Pies, Rum Truffles and Vanilla Slices to die for. Good to come back and re-visit.
Made too feel welcome before even arriving . Once at the property, you're made straight away at home and welcomed . Tom and his wife took every opportunity to tell us about the area and where and how to visit, various places around Liverpool and nothing was any trouble Once inside the room there is a book giving good information and everything is well thought out . No need to ask or want anything better & its better then a hotel stay. And it's a big fat yes. To stay and visit again. Thank you to the hosts .
The location was perfect for us. As we no longer live in the UK, I always try and book somewhere with a good British menu (miss my real fish and chips). We also look for comfort and value for money. This hotel had it all. I mentioned to one of the staff on duty that we were expecting our autistic grandson for dinner, and although they left early, the time they spent with us over dinner was great. No raised eyebrows, the staff employed real patience. I can't thank you enough.
Nicely decorated and maintained apartment in Prescot.
We stay in Prescot for a family visit, the apartment is about 15 mins to the train station with trains directly to Liverpool and the bus stop in front of the apartment with direct busses to Liverpool
Hosts were super responsive, it was a family reunion so we had to make a few changes in the reservation which they kindly accommodated
This a beautifully furnished apartment in Prescot. Private parking is available opposite the property. The communications from the owner were excellent and he was there to meet me upon my arrival. A great place to stay for a solo traveller or for a couple. I would highly recommend this apartment.
Rob and Liza were perfect hosts. It was my wife's birthday and we were welcomed with wine, a birthday card and present. We were visiting Shakespeare North Playhouse which was, quite literally, just over the road, as were all the facilities of up-and-coming Prescot.
Brilliant people, great hospitality , the most comfortable beds ever . Cleaner and better than any hotel we've stayed in whilst working in Liverpool, thanks for having us
