Our room was at the top of the building so it was quiet. The food at dinner was all fresh and we ate our way through the menu with relish.

We love the facilities and everything are well organized. The location is not that fae from Kirkwall’s center. We can reach almost everywhere by walking distance. The bus stop is even nearby with supermarkets.
I’d highly recommend for a group of friends, regardless of gender. I traveled with a group of female.

This is a great location to explore the East Mainland of Orkney. There are great beaches and coastal paths. We enjoyed walking along the coast from Dingieshowe beach and the spectacular Mull Head. We enjoyed visiting Sheila Fleet’s Kirk Gallery and cafe. Lovely gift ideas and delicious food. Deerness Distillery is also worth a visit as they make delicious gins.

Depends on the type of holiday your looking for, Toab is quiet, out of the way by the sea.. but with good access to other parts of Mainland Orkney... lots of beach combing and plenty of place to walk ... A short drive into Deerness with different attractions for visitors .. again depends on what you looking for.. But Toab isnt far from anywhere on Orkney as mainland isnt that big anyway... But a hell of a lot to do...

Toab itself is nice countryside, not much there but a fantastic base to get around the Islands, could not be handier to get to Kirkwall and the ferries, the airport is only a couple of miles away. We found so much of interest and beautiful scenery within a few miles. Lovely relaxing place.
