Perfect romantic weekend getaway with easy travel (not too far from home but far enough to be away!) Lovely, peaceful setting (might be busy during peak times though). The accommodation was adequate for two people for a short stay and the hot tub sealed the deal for us. Private and well stocked with more logs to have a bonfire or keep the external woodfire stove stoked for the hot tub. Hot tub was ready for us upon arrival and clean! Adequate kitchenette with electric plate (1) and microwave and fridge. We barbecued each night to make it easier to cater but there is a lovely restaurant/bar/café on site and within easy walking distance from the cabin if you fancy having a meal out. Prices looked reasonable and food looked great. Staff were friendly and helpful and sorted one issue regarding keys out very quickly when we first arrived. My hubby and I will definitely be back and perhaps bring the children as there are also bigger cabins available to suit families. Remember to bring towels and bring extra so you can hot tub to your heart's content.

Food at breakfast very nice, quality meat and enjoyed. The owners of establishment really need to look at staffing levels though. Presented with hot food and no cutlery to eat it with. Not advised about self serve toast so had a choice whether to miss out on toast or let food go cold. Service was poor as appeared to be only one waitress.

Close to town and facilities. Plenty of takeaways within walking distance and shops. Safe off road parking.

Great location. Extremely nice staff. Spotlessly clean room. Continental breakfast was perfect with natural yogurt, fresh raspberries, strawberries and blueberries and warm mini pastries. You could also order a cooked breakfast with a choice of size which I thought was a good idea for guests.

I didn't have the breakfast, but I did have fruit, pastry and muesli in the room when I got there.
There was also a fridge with milk, water and a yogurt in.
I loved the fact that it was just like the photos ( I stayed in cocoes one)
I could sit on the sofa for the tv and to study which is the reason I went there.
Sitting out on the balcony area listening to the church bells and the birds was fantastic.
