Everything... starting with excellent breakfast, beautiful beaches, calm surroundings, fantastic food at restaurant. Room was confortable, and the hotel overall very cosy. Nice natural shade at the hotel garden two steps away from the beach. And finaly staff - absolutelly friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Top recommendation.

Voucher for the breakfast in Hotel situated next to our place. Very good and friendly staff.Excellent location. The beach is near as well as a few bars and restaurants. Just one hundred meters away there is a taxi boat that will take you to the town of Rab.

Rob was a small historic town with loads of trekking trails around it, the scenery around the island was great, weather was really good although in April water is cold to swim. Off season many restaurants and cafes are still closed but we found some nice places to eat.

Rab as an island is great to explore but you do need a car...
Rab as an island is great to explore but you do need a car and must be able / willing to walk (10 - 30 min) to the most beautiful beaches (or get there by boat). The old town of Rab is absolutely charming. I don't say this often, but the the town's beach is great and has a really fun bar/bistro (Banova Villa). Recommend: - Podšilo bay beach (15 min walk) - Gonar (bay and restaurant of the same name - great food and spectacular sunset) - tapas bar Kampanel in old town Rab Don't bother: - Sahara beach (Podšilo is way nicer)Verbic Miklic - 10Scored 10
A small, but not too small island with great historical old...
A small, but not too small island with great historical old town. The island has excellent sandy beaches, which are perfect for families with small children, but not only that, we also loved staying there. The local people are really friendly in Rab, if yo can speak English or German languages, you can communicate almost everywhere. The prices are reasonable, not too cheap but you can also find more affordable places a little further from the city center.ZsoltHungary - 10Scored 10
The old town Rab is so nice!
The old town Rab is so nice! At Plodine supermarket, the cashier tried to add someone elses shopping(a women standing aside, playing dumb) to my wifes bill (she was with 3 children- possibly an easy target). Check your bill before leaving!!

Lovely & charming town!
Lovely & charming town! Not very crowded, so that we could take a rest and chill out. Beautiful old city and friendly people. We came to the island by car, through the ferry and then, in the zone, we moved by walk mostly (to the old town and restaurants) and by car to Kandarola Beach and Stolac Beach. I can recommend Celestina's pub and a restaurant just next to it. And a bakery Zito. In general the whole zone is great and very, very clean! Fantastic place!

Balcony was very pleasant for breakfast and relaxing. Walking distance to major supermarket. Central location allowing relatively easy access by car to all parts of Rab Island. Rab city and mountains were accessible by foot with a bit of hiking (which avoided parking issues in Rab city). Quiet location away from mass tourism. Host provided us with fresh tomatoes from the garden.

When you arrive Slavko and his wife will greet you and welcome you into their home while offering something to drink or eat. The owners are very kind and nice, ready to help if needed. The apartment has its own private parking, situated in very quiet and piecefull area, with lots of birds, and of course priceless wonderful panoramic view from the terrace. Rab is beautiful in the off-season when it's not so hot and there aren't many tourists and too many crowds.

Parking is on site at the small apartment block in a residential area of Rab but within an easy drive of everywhere on the island. The apartment is a good size, with a big balcony for sunbathing, al fresco dining or an evening drink. There is a bar, The Captains Club, about 10 m walk away, at a little harbour.

Some of the places in Rab are very old and dirty, but this one was super clean and freshly renovated. We even got homemade rakija in the fridge as a welcome - one of the BEST i’ve ever tasted.
