While the climb up to the Goat Village is a bit tough, especially with the luggage, the view, particularly at sunrise and sunset, is amazing. For those interested in the sky, the place is heaven as it works on the concept of no electricity in rooms, and only solar lamps are used as a torch. With no light pollution, the starlit sky can very easily be viewed, and I was fortunate enough to see the Milky way! There are no places around to go and have meals (unless you climb down 1.5 km and go further ahead in your car just for a mean - definitely not worth it), and the meals are prepared at the property itself. The local produce is promoted, and the food is homely and delicious. The trek (Nag Tibba) is 5kms to the base, and another 2kms to the summit. It is quite steep, and trekking up to the summit for the scenery is definitely not worth the effort. Time would be better spent just staying at the property, walking around the place, looking at sunsets, and chilling with family/friends.
