It is a converted seminary (school for training priests) - you will be staying in an austere former student room - so don't expect space or luxury. For me everything was fine - especially the low price and the location (quiet square, close to the town centre, but close enough to the edge of town I could go for an evening jog in countryside).

Mauricio is the perfect host. He was extremely helpful in helping us set our plans for visiting Alba. He showed us a very convenient place to park one block away from the heart of the old city.
The B&B was absolutely beautiful. The room was very spacious and immaculate. Well appointed and comfortable. Modern very large bathroom with all of the amenities. We’ll definitely stay again next time we are in the area.
Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area. Had a tasting of hazelnut products in town.
Would have like more time to do the underground Alba tour of the Roman remains of the old town.
Would loved to have done a tour of the Ferrero factory but that is not an option. Loved that the smell of Nutella was in the air as soon as we got out of the car in the carparks outside of the pedestrian centre,

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! We did the Alba underground tour to explore the roman and medieval ruins. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and emerged us into the ancient history of Alba. The truffle festival was the an excellent peak: amazing food and wine!

Visited during the excitement of the international white truffle fair and Alba was full of life and culture! The food and wine we had here was the best we had in all of Italy. Do not miss Alba if you’re looking for authentic Italy.

I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba...
I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba is a real gem. This was my fourth time to the Alba area and while it had been 9 years since my last stay little had changed except it got better! Alba and its people are charming, elegant, friendly, welcoming with beautifully preserved buildings, streets and shops. The surrounding hill towns for 50 plus kilometres all around are full of beautiful sites, people, wine and food. The history of Alba and Piedmont in general is very interesting particularly for its role in Italian confederation in 1862. It is so much better priced than other more popular tourist destinations in Italy. On top of that the scenery in the Langhe region is stunning and breathtakingly beautiful. The regional food is as good as it gets and the red wine is very affordable and the best in Italy for our tastes. I highly recommend to everyone to visit this under appreciated part of Italy as often as you can. I WILL be back!!
Brand new apartment, exceptionally decorated, in the heart of the old city. I doubt that there’s anything like this in there the old city of Alba the location is perfect. The apartment is super comfortable all the beds are fantastic tastefully appointed Claudio is the most accommodating host you could ever want and was so welcoming. He took care of every one of our needs and was so kind. This is an exceptional property, we were incredibly happy with our stay, and will definitely stay here again. Highly, highly recommended.
Everything! Vincafe is just wonderful! Our double room with balcony overlooked the main pedestrian street of Alba and was just such a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the ambiance. The room and bathroom were both spacious and bright. Lots of windows and doors that opened. The cafe below seemed to be THE place morning til night. Busy, busy. Breakfast (included) was the tastiest, most substantial we have ever had travelling in Italy. Staff was exceptional in every way. Highly recommended!
Giorgio the host greeted me personally as I arrived. He is a great guy and we had a good chat including some restaurant recommendations which turn out to be fantastic. It is only a couple of minutes walk from train and bus stations, and another couple of minutes walk to town centre. The modern apartment is beautifully designed (by the host himself) stocked with everything I needed and more. If I come to Alba again I will stay here only, and I will tell all my friends visiting Alba to stay here too!
The property is in an excellent location (short walking distance to the historical centre). Alberto keeps his property in top condition. Rooms are generous in size, ample wardrobe space, comfortable beds, full bathroom amenities - absolutely a gem find for us. The best bnb that we have encounter in our 15 years of travel.
It is almost impossible get a parking space in alba within the historical cita and Casa Angese has the added advantage of a car space which makes this air bnb priceless!!
Beautiful location and very warm welcome of the host. The whole stay was simply perfect. The breakfast was delicious and enjoying it immersed in the Langhe landscape is a stunning experience. It was amazing walking from Alba to Barbaresco, in the middle of hazelnut trees and vineyards, following the recommendation of the host. Such a perfect stay! We look forward to having the chance of visiting Villa la Meridiana soon.
Lorena was amazing. She went above and beyond with helping us to make reservations for dinner and taxis. We would have been lost without her.
The property is beautiful, with a panoramic view of Piedmont. The breakfast was also fantastic. Lorena was extremely flexible, offering different homemade food options each morning.
We highly recommend staying with Lorena and Franco at Villa Bellavista Alba B&B
Amazing property with lots of space and less than 5 mins walk from the beautiful centre of Alba. There are 3 big bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms and a huge lounge and kitchen area. There is also a nice balcony for an outdoor drink. Parking is easy with a cheap, secure public parking directly opposite. The host, Loris, is also super helpful and answers any questions very quickly.
Alberto was a kind and gracious host and took great care of me and my partner. He helped us immensely by making reservations for us at places we wanted to visit or finding local transportation for us. Casa Agnese was clean, comfortable, and charming. Can't say enough great things about it! Will definitely stay here again when back in Alba. Thank you, Alberto!!!
Our stay at Villa Anna was a highlight of our 4 week family holiday - beautiful home, generous & attentive host, excellent facilities (Like a boutique hotel) and our boys LOVED the swimming pool. Easy walk into Alba for delicious food & wine. Don’t hesitate booking this beautiful property. Thank You Giulio!
Everything was great and the B & B was very clean and comfortable. The little touches like fresh cooked cake each day was fabulous. It was very close to the old town and easy to find with parking out the front. Alba and surrounding towns were fantastic thanks to an Itinerary supplied by the owner.
This location is remarkable - literally steps away from everything in Alba. The apartment was clean and very spacious. We loved the big open windows and functional little kitchen. Huge bedroom with a fairly comfortable bed (but not so much the linens). Really appreciated the lift!
Very good location in the old town, being in the heart of Alba. The apartments are new, neat, well equipped, all the hygiene items you might need. Amazing staff who take care of everything with a smile. The breakfast is one of the best we've had in Italy in years :)
Great location, lovely room!! The hotel is near from different places to have lunch, dinner or just have a glass of wine. You also can move to Barolo and other wine zones in a few minuts. Andrea, the host, was absolutely kind!! For sure a place to come back anytime.
The house is welcoming, clean and exactly what we needed for our weekend trip. It's easy to get to the Alba truffle fair with a car from here. The hosts were kind and made sure the house was heated up and that we had everything we needed.
Very good place for staying in Alba. Good value for money and very hospitable and friendly host)
You’ll need just a five minutes to get Truffle fair in the center of Alba as well as a free parking close to apartments.
Absolutely lovely. The family that runs this beautiful hotel make guests feel like cherished friends. We opted for dinner with them one evening and it was excellent. The pasta was some of the best I've had in Italy.
Hotel was extremely orderly, tidy, and well maintained. Rooms very clean and very well outfitted. Staff was exceptionally accommodating and friendly, as well as professional. Location was ideal.
Beautiful and clean apartment in the center of Alba. Very nice kitchen with high quality products. Small balcony overlooking the piazza.
We enjoyed it very much and will come back.
Location was great for walking around alba. The apartment was large with different patio/deck options. Parking was convenient and secure. Overall great property
