The staff was very helpful, great hospitality! The hotel itself was located perfectly on the peninsula end of the tombolo, easy to walk around in the city centre and to go to both beaches. The rooms were wonderful, charming stairs brings you around. Great breakfast buffet, restaurant and bar. Everything was perfect!

Villa Agnese has a peaceful location surrounded by vineyards, 3 km from Sestri Levante city centre and from the beach.

Ingles, Español, Italino: Todo espectalular, Tutto spettacolare Everything was spectacular. Many good things to highlight: daily cleaning with new towels, perfumed scent, vacuumed floors, etc. What caught our attention was the detail of the candles lit at night in the courtyard, giving the place a very romantic touch, also showing the concern to create a first-class environment. Villa Agnese also has the detail of ambient music even in the courtyard, at breakfast, which we appreciated a lot as other places don't have that detail. The 24-hour attention is worth noting, with very friendly staff always helping. The garage is excellent, spacious, and secure, and furthermore, the entire premises are enclosed, top-notch security, something very important since we rented a car. Everything very well maintained, courtyard, nature, room, with places to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. The room perfectly painted and arranged with pleasant colors, with three curtains to cover the light and also to give an elegant touch to the windows. The initials of V.A in various parts and the name even on the napkins we liked a lot. The bathroom is large, perfectly equipped, good mirrors, very good shower, hot water, everything working perfectly. Good temperature and air in the room. Excellent breakfast with plenty to choose from and first-class service. Clean pool, crystal-clear water. The owners are very friendly, who also have the detail of giving a gift to their customers at the time of check-out, a detail that we hadn't seen before even though we've stayed in many hotels. If we return to northern Italy, we will definitely return to Villa Agnese, we recommend it wholeheartedly. Honestly, we can't find anything negative, quite the opposite, on a scale of 10 we give it a 20 :). Minutes away from the city center by car and on foot. Quiet place, excellent

Excellent breakfast, attention to cleanliness, location in front of the sea with direct access to beach. Staff very kind and supportive in all requests, including very clear support for activities and villages to visit, searching for the best connection. The possibility to stay and have access to beach even though we were out of season, with facilities available. The common areas are very open, and well furnished with sofas and bright areas.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Miramare and Spa. When searching for a , I had been attracted to the hotel by the photos of the Bay of Silence location of the hotel. It was even better in real life! A really beautiful and peaceful location as we were travelling during the non peak time of March. The bedroom we were allocated was lovely and spacious as we were upgraded on arrival to the Junior Suite with Seaview and balcony, room 210. The bed was SO comfortable and the room was very quiet. Sitting on the balcony at different times of the day was bliss! As we had requested a twin room, they made up the sofa bed into another bed for us, which was also very comfortable to sleep in. The suite was very clean and every little extra touch was provided. I loved the huge fluffy dressing gowns especially! The bathroom had a wonderful jacuzzi bath as well as a separate shower. I loved the range of toiletries provided, the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner smelt and felt lovely. The breakfast room overlooking the sea was beautiful, such a pleasure to eat our breakfast overlooking the calm bay. It had lots of choice. We chose the ham and cheese omelette on the first morning which was delicious, so much so that we ordered another one on the following day! The pastries were displayed in a pretty way, like they do for an afternoon tea in England on a stand on each table. We didn’t manage to eat at the restaurant as it wasn’t open when we were there but there was plenty of choice in the town of Sestri Levante itself. We thought that the old town of Sestri Levante was delightful. We found it a great base for taking the train to see the Cinque Terre which was the main objective of our trip and we are so glad that we chose to stay outside in such a lovely resort. It was an easy direct connection to the Cinque Terre stations.

    Sestri Levante is a very nice town with a historical centre and full of beaches (many of them unfortunately private). There is all infrastructure needed for visitors. Not so far away from the town centre are also free parking sites (paid parking in the town) and everything is close by. Nice places to see are simply reached, for example, by train - Portofino, Camoglia, Cinque Terre, or by car - Genova, Pisa, Lucca, La Spezia and other.

It has 2 long beaches (private and public) It is close to Cinque Terre and Portofino, which can be reached by boat and train., It has sandy (dark) beaches, great food and affordable restaurants.     When you arrive at train station the houses around does not...

    When you arrive at train station the houses around does not look so pleasant - but when you walk 500 metres to the old town you will get an total different view - very nice look with typical small and old streets. Sestri Levante is also a very good starting point for day trips to Cinque Terre og Portofine etc.

    We are not fans of the way Italy carves up its beaches, and...

    We are not fans of the way Italy carves up its beaches, and forces you to pay to access the sea, which is why we generally stayed by the hotel pool. Having said that, Sestri Levante is a very pretty resort, and has loads of beach options along the front. Restaurants were plentiful along the streets behind the main beach front, and we ate at Osteria Mattana which was excellent, serving home made local dishes.

    It’s a wonderful place to stay.

    It’s a wonderful place to stay. Great staff, terrific breakfast atop the hotel with a view of both bays and it’s within walking distance to everything. It’s a bit pricey but it was worth it for my family’s enjoyment

    Sestri Levante was easy to access, lots of lovely restaurants. We enjoy seafood & there was plenty of that ! ‘Polpo Mario’ was one very good restaurant . The ambience around the ‘Bay of Silence’ by our Hotel was great. The only beachfront we would avoid was the big one round the corner.

    We had an unexpected stop-over in Sestri Levante so we booked Baia delle Favole Affittacamere for one night at short notice. It was exactly what we needed - a comfortable serviced room near the train station and the beach at a reasonable price. The reception staff were very laid back and friendly, allowing us to leave cases there most of the day before our train to Manarola. (As an aside, we loved Sestri Levante and would have liked to have stayed another day or two...)

    It was extremely hot while we were visiting this part of Italy and being able to return each evening to the cool of the mountainside was perfect. WE had thought that the distance to the beach and the town would be difficult but that was not the case and we were always able to find parking and walk or go to the beaches. The location was also great for Cinq Terre althought we could not visit on this trip as the days were just too hot.

    Communication with the host was very clear and prompt, we were greeted on arrival and we were shown the property, the parking and a very handy map of the area with recommendations for restaurants and bars to spend our time in the evening. Property is greatly located only a couple of minutes from the historical town center by foot. Sestri Levante is a little gem overlooking the sea, totally worth visiting.

    The apartment is situated in Riva Trigoso, about 25 min by foot or 7 by bike to Sestri Levante. Very cozy and clean location, it has absolutely everything you need and the host is the nicest, helpful person! Very close to a wonderful beach with crystal clear water and nice cafes, bakeries and fruit/vegetable and other kind of shops.

    The view was one of the best views at a hotel that we have seen. The staff showed us the bar, the pool and restaurant when we arrived. And then walked us to our room. The shuttle service to/from the train was very convenient, and staff were pleasant overall.

    Apartment was clean and spacious just as in pictures. The host was very responsive and nice. The area was only 10min walk from beach and the centre. Sestri Levante is our favorite Italian place now.
