I had a truly perfect experience! This renowned place boasts a rich history, with authentic and impeccably maintained Japanese historical ryokan. The staff are exceptionally well-trained and polite. Despite initial concerns about water cleanliness, their informative video on cleaning the onsen area put us at ease. Breakfast with my family was delightful, and the onsen water was truly amazing! Instantly, my skin felt smoother, and upon waking, it was wonderfully moisturized. If I return to Fukuoka, I wouldn't hesitate to revisit this gem. My parents also thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The hotel was at a good location, walking distance to 2 train stations servicing different lines. They offered free use of the neighbouring onsen/bathhouse which was rather basic but got the job done. The staff were extremely polite and professional, easily the best part of the stay there.
