We only came to stay for one night because we needed an extra day in Kyoto, but the room was absolutely lovely and comfortable. The location is great, just a stone throw away from Kyoto Station, so it was ideal for us not having to drag our luggage far to hop on the shinkansen to Tokyo. We weren't in the hotel too long as we spent the entire day out, but we slept soundly and comfortably at night when we returned. Very soundproofed and soft beds.
