the breakfast was really good. Ample selection, constantly re-stocked, and the "omu Sensei" (the gent making omelets) was so incredibly kind and sweet to the kids--and makes a killer omelet! The facility is definitely old but is plenty comfy for the space you can get for the price (particularly for families or if you are accustomed to western sized rooms), and I appreciated the wee kitchenette! There is an izakaya practically in the parking lot, which was nice for evening meals, and a decent combini across the street for anything else. I will say that we had a view of the pool, and though it was closed for the season, it looked tiny, and like it hadn't been cleaned or maintained in YEARS. Jurassic years. Still, the beach is across the street... :) **There are no ice machines in this hotel as of our visit. I found that a bit odd. And inconvenient.

Ample choice of restaurants to meet all kinds of food experience, the fish restaurant being one of the best. Several activities on offer at different levels , you never get boring walking trough the resort. The sandy and clean beach was easily acceptable and very tidy every day. Before sleeping, the beds were prepared together with a brief on next days weather and a small chocolate completed the experience;-)

Actually, I feel the photos did not do this resort justice. This resort is a hidden gem that exceeded in everyway what I was expecting. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my family stay was excellent. We will definitely return when our schedule permits.
