The guesthouse is located in a very sleepy town, so I didn't expect there would be much to do other than go to bed. Instead, I had one of the best nights of my trip! The workers and guests I met in the common area were great fun and we all stayed up late talking and playing board games.

Kazeto is right on the water in Yunotsu, a beautiful onsen town. Everything was excellent but the hosts were exceptional. Communication in English was easy, everyone was so warm and helpful. If I could give 11/10, I would. I highly recommend Kazeto to all travellers, but particularly to foreigners.

The room and the building were very beautiful and clean. The onsen was very nice, I especially enjoyed the sound of the rain on the roof in the outdoor onsen. The staff were very nice and helpful. They also told us about a local festival that we enjoyed!

The view from the room is breathtaking. It’s also beautifully designed and very clean. The balcony is a nice extra. Drinks in the fridge are included. Breakfast is delicious. The location was conveniently located near the train station, tourist information and walking to the pottery village. Kenta, the owner, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. When we arrived he had a map prepared with various restaurant options and times of opening. He did far more than he needed for his guests and helped us to access places we wanted to visit. He also arranged for us to see Kagura - a must see performance!
