We absolutely loved the overal experience staying at this hotel. All staffs came out to the front to welcome us at check in and they immidiately wiped all of our luggages after unloading. I love how the staffs are always offering help and being so polite and friendly. The facility is well maintained and hygiene is at good standard. I would definitely re-visit this hotel in my future trips to Takayama.

The owners are the friendliest people in the world. The house and the garden are amazing. Its like how you imagine a traditional Japanese hosue, as a european. Highly recommended! And as a bonus, it has an amazing homemade breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Japanese style room was so big, lovely and with an amazing view. The staff was very kind and helpful. We loved the hot tub in the terrace while it was snowing.
