Our room is bigger than the average Japanese business hotel. The bed is also big. There is a table with 2 chairs and extra for reading and writing. Breakfast is very good. Although it's mostly Japanese but there are some cooked eggs, bacon or sausages with some buns. We were able to convince them to let us park our bikes at the employee bike parking. Thank you. The hotel is not far from Yamanobe-no-michi Trail, one of Japanese oldest roads and runs along the foot of the mountains. The trail is very nice. We enjoyed it. We were also able to get to Mt. Yoshino from here.

Breakfast was including in our meal the food was amazing, had most things and so fresh! We loved all the facilities onsens, indoor pools and communal facilities. There were a couple of things to like about the place. A couple of sento are surrounding it, the beds felt good, the rooms were clean at first sight, and the fact that it was an small house for us alone was also quite good, a bit small if you would stay there with more than 6 adults. The atmosphere was good. Staying at this kind of a old house gives a very nice atmosphere. The fact that there were 2 parking spots was very convenient as well. The kitchen having more then enough cups and glasses was also very convenient and we were also provided with enough towels for our entire stay. The location is a bit far from all the main attractions in Nara, luckily the train station is quite close-by and you could also just walk towards Nara park, it takes some time, but when on vacation you probably have the time.
