Wow, my room was absolutely beautiful. The service I received was excellent. The staff were very friendly. I travelled alone but did not feel alone during my stay. There is a quaint little coffee shop adjacent to the hotel and the owner was absolutely lovely, very attentive and made me feel at home. The cakes are delicious. I took some home to London. The location of the hotel is very good - just a few minutes walk to the seafront where you can go to restaurants, bars, buses etc. If you are visiting this area, I would very strongly recommend that you stay at this hotel.

Sliema is like most of Malta's area's, a busy lively place during the day. At night the traffic does quieten down a bit, but you have more people walking around the harbour, bars and restaurant's. Our choice was the Cafe Sicilia, but the choice you have you could choose a different one every night. The ferry to Valletta is convenient and on our visit 3 euros per person so not expensive. Walking round the harbour in the evening is a nice relaxing walk. Like many places in Malta, there is a lot of building work going on, so there is some delays and disruption at the moment. But that is soon forgotten once past it. We think it's a great place to stay for couples or a family, easy for Valetta or anywhere in Malta.

Best place to stay in Malta IMHO
go visit Rabat
They filmed the 1st series of Game of Thrones
get the bus its like €2 and you have up to 2 hours to reuse it for free
so if you were to get the 13 to valletta and then you hop back on any bus within that time frame its free
and visit Mosta and go to the Mosta dome .the walls are like 28 feet thick
to support the weight of it its a cool place
go down the bomb shelter while your there

Sliema is like the poor relation to St Julians and Valetta.
Sliema is like the poor relation to St Julians and Valetta. It is dirty, lacks atmosphere and is rather boring. There is so much construction work going on , cranes and diggers are everywhere. There is also too much litter.
The restaurants were more expensive than Valetta and the shops close early so there isn't the buzz at night that St Julians has. Great for getting to other places but wouldn't stay there again.

Sliema was the best place for everything.
Sliema was the best place for everything. A promenade by the harbour and a promenade on the Mediterranean Sea side with easy walks to St Julian. Buses are available to venture into Valletta or the 5 minute ferry ride. We took the North Tour hop on hop off bus journey. Great and a harbour cruise around the peninsulas. Recommended. English language. Marks and Spencers and Next with a lovely shopping centre, The Point. The Red Dragon Chinese and the Londener Pub are exceptionally great restaurants.
Highly recommend the Lands End Boutique hotel. Near to the many restaurants yet away from the evening bustle.
The room was just what we expected and it helped to also have a kitchen. Was clean and comfortable and breakfast was fantastic, everything we needed.
I was especially surprised by the professionalism of Yasser (I believe the name was ) in the reception area. He was simply amazing and treated us like if we were in a 5 star Hotel. In addition Joanna upstairs in the breakfast area was super friendly and helpful every day, we were treated really well and would not doubt to come back again. Thank you all!
Friendly staff, good location (in the middle between Ferries and Balluta Bay) so you can get easily to both 'sides' of Sliema. Nice room, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Had a balcony with a relatively unobstructed view of Valletta (4th floor, and while the hotel is not on the seafront, it's on top of a hill, so you can see things from there). There's a rooftop terrace with even better view (and a pool and a bar that was closed as we were there in Dec).
Great transport from the airport, driver gave us nice travel tips !
Top reception, always ready to help.
Clean, large an fully equipped room.
Location is the best for mall, bar, transport
Nice, cheap coffee, toast, etc... at the bar.
Quiet hotel, but at the first floor, in the afternoon, I could hear chairs from the groud floor bar, ask for upper floor if you are noise sensitive
Thank you Sliema Tigne Suites and buenavistahollidays
I booked hotel Europa for the second time, because it has the best value for money. Location is amazing, it’s situated at the promenade in Sliema. The receptionists- Michael and the other mister (I don’t know his name), thank you for being so nice and helpful. You definitely made my holiday even better. I really appreciate it when the staff is hospitable. Rooms are spacious and aesthetically pleasing. I’ll definitely come back again
The best part was the location. Sliema is really a happening location in Malta with lots of restaurants and bus/Ferry stops nearby. It's almost a central location to commute to any part of Malta.
The apartment was cosy and very neat and clean. The instructions given by Irina were very good and we didn't face any issues in entering our apartment. I would highly recommend this apartment for a Solo, Family or a Business trip.
One of the best hotels i have ever seen. It has the biggest room i have ever seen. One very cleen and quiet room and it has all the nessesary things(like towels, shampoo). It was in one the best places in sliema because it was 2 minutes from the ferry for valleta and for the ferries that does the cruises in whole island. It was near in too many stores for food and mini markets.
Location of the hotel is highly conviniente to travel around the Malta, especially by bus.
Place is nice and clean in a more quite part of Sliema.
Staff is very helpful and polite. It is a big plus of Amery House.
Breakfast was very good but with a longer stay it might get a little monotonous. After 5 days it was still good for us :)
The apartment is nice!
Brand new,modern, and very clean.
Amazing welcome by the host (Sasa),we check-in very late by night. They left us bottle of water, coffee, sugar, and milk on the house.
Located in the best location in Sliema, with one leg out of the building and you are in front of the sea!!! Very close to the Sliema ferry.
one of the best hotels we’ve ever been!
the facilities are very clean and comfortable, the location is great.
the best thing is the staff!! so kind, generous, sensitive to our stay, extraordinary service providers. the best! thank you so much for everything ❤️
Very nice apartment hotel in a lively and practical neighborhood for exploring Malta. Apartment has everything needed for a short stay, it is very clean and all the communication for self check in / check out went seamlessly. The bed was very comfortable!
The best is the location,Sliema is ideal for exploring the island and the host Lany, who is very helpful. He was kind and helped us with paper the last day.I strongly recommend the hotel to the people who are looking spending quality time with their family.
- Pleasant hotel at a great location in Sliema.
- The host was welcoming and friendly.
- A cheery, talkative barrista at breakfast who makes great cake.
- Very big and clean room with a nice comfortable bed.
- Great view from the balcony.
The hotel was ideally situated to access the ferries from Sliema to Valletta and buses were plentiful. The promenade was perfect to stroll along in the evenings with plenty of decent restaurants to cater for most dietary needs.
A wonderful hotel at Sliema just on the waterfront. Great value for money, comfortable and spacious room, amazing breakfast and very helpful stuff. There is a pool on the terrace with great view! I recommend it absolutely!
Lovely breakfast (which was served next door at The Palace Hotel), super friendly & helpful staff, and very good location! They were able to upgrade us to a better room which was great! The beds were also very comfortable!
The hotel and the room were clean, staff were very polite.
Good breakfast, location is great. The bus stop is a few yards away from the hotel. Walking distance from St. Julian’s bay or Sliema ferry.
This was a really lovely 5 star hotel. The staff throughout the hotel were amazing. The wait staff at breakfast were outstanding, in particular one man who was so attentive to helping my children.
