The family were lovely, the location was very close to the port. We only stayed one night and were in the room that was semi outdoors (not in the main house), when we arrived there was about 500 ants/insects on each of our beds, assuming they're attracted to the light and as there was a hole in the roof they could get in. The owner took care of them while we went to get dinner but there were still plenty alive and dead on the beds when we got back and we were reluctant to turn the light on incase we attracted more. The owner came in and placed some mosquito nets on the beds which we appreciated so we could sleep easy. Fine for an overnight stay.

We have had a perfect stay. We stayed with our family. This location is perfect for family and individual travelers. Very close to the center, close to restaurants (all on walking distance). The owners are very friendly and know a lot about Rivas and Ometeppe. We recommend this place.
