This is THE perfect small hotel. Great location on the banks of the Meuse. Excellent rooms, spotless. Wonderful staff, all of them, friendly, welcoming and at the same time highly professional. A genuinely good restaurant - somewhere you'd go out of your way to eat if you weren't staying there. And the best hotel breakfast in living memory (and I'm someone who did a lot of business travel for over 40 years.) All the rave reviews are justified. And it's a good wine merchant too! This place is owned and run by people who really care about making your stay a great experience. Definitely one to return to whenever there is an opportunity.

Quality furniture and furnishings. Beautiful view over the shopping precinct, trees and parkland. Lovely breeze coming in the windows, perfect for early summer month 👏
Stairs were steep and difficult with luggage but once we reached our room we were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely, clean and luxurious it felt.

The room was rather expensive.
The room was rather expensive. Hotel miss managed my reservation and only had one night instead of two. The service in the restaurant was attrocias. Took forever to be waited on, I had to ask for the wine card 3 times before I finally received it. The waitress said she was busy as an excuse but it was more her unprofessional service & attitude.

Venlo is a beautiful city , i really loved the architecture and the nature . It was a wonderful time spent. Next time i'll take more time to walk around and explore even more. It is a very neat and clean city my eyes liked it.
I have known this hotel for a while and always like to return. It is getting a bit older but for me that is absolutely no problem. I like the older design and atmosphere. The location is perfect, close to the railway station but away from the downtown streets with loud nigh life, the staff is very friendly, breakfast is simple and perfect for someone like me, and the price is right. Oh and the coffee is also very good!
We were traveling with a dog and the hotel arranged water and food bowl and a blanket for the dog. There is directly a park where you can walk around.
Th food in de restaurant was very delicious but a bit in the expensive side.
We had a big rain shower and a really good soft bed.
I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The cleanliness was impeccable, the modern decor created a stylish atmosphere, and the spacious rooms added an extra level of comfort to my stay. Highly recommend for a delightful and comfortable experience..
A very charming apartment in a great location. Close to everything you would want to see in Venlo and in a lovely old house that gives you the proper Dutch experience. Antique furniture in the bedroom (not the bed though :-)) gave everything a nice atmosphere.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We were there for a night on the way to visit our family. Everything was perfect for us and for our dogs. Friendly stuff, good food for dinner and breakfast. Quiet and cozy, absolutely recommended.
The guest house is very cozy. Everything is very clean. The hostess is very helpful and caring. We will miss this place very much. If I need to stay again in Venlo, I would choose only this guest house.
Very nice old hotel with great restaurant and beautiful grounds in the woods. A bit out of town, so if you want to go to other restaurants, will need to drive. Room was nice and big and comfortable.
Location close to city center and rail station. Clean and tidy room, same as whole building actually. Friendly and helpful staff, easy check in. Many shops, restaurants and pubs nearby.
beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. great location, easy access to train & bus station. great restaurants and shops at the doorstep. easy access to museums and art galleries
Very worn and in need of a makeover. The property was clean, so clean the smell of the cleaning products was a bit overwhelming. The staff was very pleasant. Good location for Venlo
