We came to see the eclipse so we weren't at the hotel much but it was a clean, comfortable and conveniently located place to stay. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and they came right away to take care of it.

The location was wonderful but that is the extent of what was really good about this place.

The Gridley Inn offers accommodation in Waterloo. All the rooms at this mid 19th Century home are located on the second floor and are accessible only by stairs.

Love the history of this place. It was really clean too and well decorated! The owners were so interesting, had a loving chat with them! I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. I was only passing by this little town from NYC to Canada, would have stayed longer if I could! Comfortable stay. 100% recommend.
