Nice big hotel. Pool, gym, bar. Lots of shops and eateries nearby. It's a bit like you're not in America, but in China. Most of the signs outside the shops are in Chinese and most of the people are from Asia. An interesting experience in any case. Good breakfast. I would like to commend Ricky the bartender. Very cool guy :)

The location is good - about 20 mins drive to downtown. The room is nice and clean, large enough to allow 3 suitcases fully opened. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They serve simple breakfast which includes bread, eggs, meat, drinks, yogurts. I would definitely recommend.

A privilege and a pleasure to stay in this mid-20th century-modern motel! The building, painted orange, with the creative calligraphy of its big sign, is great. Our room was completely up-to-date: very comfortable, spacious, good reading lights by the bed, wall-to-wall carpet (when other motels have switched to fake parquet), and clean. A nice breakfast bar. On a main street, but we weren't troubled by noise. The swimming pool is on the small side, but after a long, hot day on the freeways, I appreciated the chance to have a refreshing dip.

Location is good, near many places for shopping, having meals
Conveniently located only moments from top attractions, including the Rose Bowl parade route, this hotel offers state-of-the-art amenities and facilities and places guests in the heart of San Gabriel...
Hotel is at the center of chinese community.. Information need to communicate and also need to speak in english when they take your credit card or any payment. Also they need to explain to guest that this room is not that big as the other rooms. They need to learn how to communicate all the people in the information..if room is small The pay should be lower and the bigger room should be higher.

San Gabriel is a Chinese enclave, and they let you know it.
San Gabriel is a Chinese enclave, and they let you know it. Best to travel to Los Angeles' actual Chinatown.
If you are a native Angelino, then a store like Hawaiian Market is a great place to buy cheap exotic food, like durian fruit.
Very quiet and very comfortable king bed room with both a coffee maker and a kettle (so we could make our own tea with bags we bring when traveling). Hotel includes spacious public areas and good amenities. Used room service for evening meal and found it to be quick and the food choices were reasonable given the hotel's location in China Town part of San Gabriel.

I appreciate the friendly and helpful staff. My favorite thing is that it's right across the street from a great shopping center. My room was clean and spacious, and the bed was so comfortable! This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I'm already certain it will not be my last.
The staff was super friendly and helpful whenever I asked questions. The beds were actually comfortable to sleep in. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Unfortunately I did not get to use any of the other facilities (eg. pool, gym, etc.) so can't comment on those aspects.
Best Sheraton that I've stayed at. Had a feel of luxury. Very clean, wide open spaces, adjacent to Starbucks. Rooms very clean with nice desk and couch. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom very nice with great shower and big sink counter space.
I liked how the area around the hotel is clam and quiet . The rooms are spacious and they have a Lotus installed in the restroom and omg it's the best ! Staff was friendly checking in was super fast overall a great experience
very clean room, lovely staff who were very sweet to us, $5 deposit for the key/remote, clean shower/bed, comfy pillows (stayed in a lot of hotels and they tend to be rough on my wife and i's necks)
We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton San Gabriel, the staff is super friendly, it is very clean and the bed was really comfortable. We also liked the garage to park our car easily- fair price
when we arrived the hotel, they told us the reservation was canceled and if we want to stay, we need to pay more $50 than my booking price. what should I say.. we left.
so close to shopping and eating. We ate inside the hotel also. Hotel staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel and pool area were very clean.
