This is a beautiful location with many nearby attractions and dining options. That’s the positive,
However, The front desk staff at this facility was the opposite of “Southern Hospitality.” She was rude and nasty and stated that I could not check into my “prepaid room” because she didn’t like my attitude. Please read my very negative review on Google.

Please run.
Please run. I’m so mad I didn’t check google reviews before booking. The pictures are fake. This place is bad BAD. The desk guy is horrible and wouldn’t give me my refund. The place looked like a dungeon and aside from that, it had bed bugs. Plz check the crevices of the mattress on the bottom. That’s where we found them. It was 3 am and we just wanted to sleep after driving from Florida. I had to sleep in a parking lot because it’s not worth having bed bugs. They refunded me $12 out of the $82 I spent. He was nasty and tried calling me a liar. I would never lie about this and the other reviews say they found bed bugs and cockroaches crawling from the baseboards as well. This is the worst place I’ve ever dealt with. Can’t belive it. Lol it says the rooms have Mountain View balconies as well. That’s a lie. The pictures are so photoshopped or stolen it’s rediculous. I can’t belive booking.com would work with this place. Shady. I wish I could have stayed in there more than the 5 mins I was there. all I got for pictures is my dog looking terrified. He probably smelled bad stuff or useless bed bug spray or something. Anyone that is reading this after staying there- I’m so sorry for what you just went through. The front desk guy sleeping or took 15 mins to come to the front desk for you guys too? And then proceeded to give you attitude? Oh I wish something could be done so badly.

Very clean facility, most of all.
Very clean facility, most of all. Most hotels do not have this quality. Good size room and everything worked. TV was easy to navigate, fringe, and micro wave were clean and working. Can’t emphasize the cleanliness of the place. Have stayed at nearby competitors in the past and nearby and just couldn’t take the uncleanliness of the properties. Plus, we had to change our rooms on several occasions. Don’t write too many reviews, but this one is highly recommended.

The check in clerk was very helpful and recommended the Log house1776 restaurant. Reservations were required. She gave directions to the restaurant. We had a reservation for 8 PM. The food was good. There was also a gift shop and gardens to tour while we waited to be seated. Whyteville VA is a very nice town.
We had the stuffed chicken breast with zucchini, and crispy grits with pepper jelly and red velvet cake for dessert.

We had a pleasant hike on the 7-sisters trail, about 12 min.
We had a pleasant hike on the 7-sisters trail, about 12 min. from the motel. Good dinner at the Log House. Hoped to see the Edith Boiling Wilson house, but it didn't have opening hours that worked for us.
Great location. Stayed over in route to SC. Close to restaurants and stores. Many chain restaurants to choose from. Nice little downtown area which we visited the next morning. Hotel had a great breakfast for the money. Hot waffle machine, sausage and eggs along with cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, etc…. Rooms were clean, comfortable and secure. Entrance/exit doors wouldn’t allow entrance without room card and they actually worked. Elevator available to second floor. Would definitely stay again.
It was a reasonable bed for our in-transit journey. The fridge is handy, the microwave is handy, the dog pen is a bonus. The rooms in general
Are very tired and the bathrooms are becoming increasingly unpleasing and need a reno. I have used this hotel now 4x a year (except during COVID) for 7 years. The price is commensurate with the quality though so I didn’t expect anything more anyways. It is time to move on from this location for my future trips due to how tired it is now.
The hotel felt warm and inviting. The staff is friendly. The rooms were large and the view of the mountains was nice. We were on the 5th floor by the elevator and you could not hear a sound. Big TV in the room. We arrived at 2 and they allowed us in before check-in. They had a plate of cookies for guests which was a nice touch for a hungry traveler/kids. Very good Covid policies are in place. A few options to explore the surrounding area. A nice downtown for walking close by.
A beautiful hotel off the highway (equals quiet). Beds are extremely comfortable. The bath area is large and the rooms are updated and clean. A roof top bar offers great views. This is a jewel with a great staff. Nearby dining options and shopping all within walking distance, and by the way... you are nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Well done and we hope to see the restaurant reopening in the near future. This was my second stay and will not be the last.
We stay in Wytheville every year on our way to and from S. Carolina (live in Ohio). This was first time staying at La Quinta. It was just alright. Hotel is a bit dated. It is clean, very clean, but on the verge of needing some updates and repairs. Walls are painted dark, floors and carpet are very dark. Elevators and hallways old and alot of chipped paint. Breakfast was a nice selection of eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, muffins and yogurt.
Today the elevator is broke. My parents are both in wheelchairs. I don’t even know how to get them down from the 3rd floor. This hotel has been a nightmare along with all the overcharges and lack of knowledge from the staff. Poor training on a new computer system and Patricia was the only one that seemed to know anything just ridiculous. This is the biggest bull shit I have ever experienced
This hotel really surprised me and exceeded my expectations. The room was the perfect size and very clean. The bed was comfortable and clean. There was a microwave and mini fridge in the room. There was a very nice complimentary breakfast with many options. My interactions with all the staff was excellent. I will stay here again the next time I have to travel to this area for work.
Breafast items missing. Poor cleanliness in breakfasr area. Tables not cleaned. Sticky floor, food on floor. Overall poorly maintained. Mold in bathroom tub/shower. I called the Wytheville Health department because NO one should have to put up with these unsanitary conditions. What did I like? Leaving the hotel without getting sick.
The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was hot and well organized for social distancing. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed a good shower before moving on to our next stay. We were able to avoid the coming ice storm. The hotel was located within easy driving distance of several restaurants. It was a great evening.
the staff was very friendly. the room was nice, it was clean and the bed was comfortable unlike the hard beds at many hotels. Cracker Barrel basically shares the parking lot. it’s pet friendly but we didn’t travel with ours so it was nice to see other pets around. we would stay again.
Location was perfect for a motorcycle ride around the BOTD and HOTD. Bed was very comy, quiet hotel with a delightful breakfast. The curtains were torn and the windows old. (Not that either of those took away from the room's comfort)
I really enjoyed my stay with this Ramada Wytheville. Front desk was welcoming & helpful. Room & bathroom was real clean. Bed & pillows were super comfortable. Furniture looks attractive. very nice location.
The room with the king size bed was exceptional. Very clean, very comfortable! The breakfast selections were great; the blueberry waffles was something you never see in a hotel's continental breakfast!
Breakfast and the staff member who was available to help.
Same staff member handled checkout with great customer relationship skulls.
Room was clean, and comfortable.
Hotel location was a plus.
Hotel is in a nice spot. Hotel room layout was spacious, and had convenient access to car for getting luggage. Breakfast location was bright and had good space. Coffee was fresh.
