Very good location, 15mins from train station. . Supermarkets, travel agents, restaurants, karaoke bus etc., within walking distance. The place is run by a lovely family who were all very sweet and helpful throughout our stay. We gave laundry and got it back in half a day, all dry and beautifully folded :) We stayed in a budget room so it was as comfortable as it can get. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Spacious bathroom and powerful water pressure. Ac was working great. Absolutely no complaints. If you're in ninh binh and want easy access to these things but want to stay close to the countryside, where all the beautiful mountains, caves and rivers are situated, I highly recommend this place.

Right in the middle of Tam Coc, just 2 minutes from the boat station, this homestay offers several spacious, clean and bright rooms. The breakfast - egg of choice - was ok, served with some veggies and fruits. The hosts offered extra complimentary water beyond the bottles which were in the room, and that was really nice touch (given that those bottles came from the fridge) - getting cold water after a bicycle ride in summer heat. The hosts are very friendly and compensate lack of English with Google Translate. They have arranged bicycle and scooter rentals within few minutes from request, helped with the ride planning, and allowed us to leave the luggage till nearly 10pm, long after check-out time. Additionally, they allowed to use restroom and take shower late in the evening, just before we went for dinner. The main food and drink area of Tam Coc is literally within few steps of the homestay, as is the small apparel and souvenir market.
