We just love Port Alfred, it is Quiet and not overcrowded / Pick n Pay Centre very nice - very friendly locals / Of course Guido's wonderful pizza / beautiful golf course / 28km of river to cruise up / the Rosehill Mall not too big, actually small but sufficient with a huge Spar. Car wash while you shop. Overall is Port Alfred just the perfect place to stay - right in the centre between East London and Port ELizabeth - 150km each way.

Port Alfred is a wonderful small town on the coast with many beaches and the river that one can boat on for quite some distance. In the area there are many other attractions such as museums, the giant pineapple, game reserves and other small towns that are worth a visit.

We stopped here for a night on our trip along the garden route. We were pleasantly surprised at this little coastal town and how beautiful it is. We ate at a restaurant called Tash's and the staff were so friendly. Being accustomed to Johannesburg pricing, we were also blown away by how affordable everything is in Port Alfred. I would think that during peak months, it could get quite busy, but early September seemed to be a good time to visit this cozy time.
We loved everything about the resort. The views are breathtaking. You have ocean wildlife and nature all in one. We spend hours exploring the most amazing sand dunes on the beach. The Staff go out of their way to ensure a lovely holiday and give a lot of personal attention. The food was amazing. The room was absolutely wow and very private.
There was no breakfast it was self catering .The location was not so easy because when you come from Burthust I can not see whats written on the signs because the boards are facing the opposite side .I think there should be Mansfield on both sides.
The house is amazing for a family, the room was quite spacious and we enjoyed the living, dining and outside space. We enjoyed complete privacy and tranquility and it was very close to the beach.
Right on the beach but very private. Enormous, comfortable bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms with all the trimmings. Made to feel at home by friendly hostess who cooed us a delicious breakfast.
OUR host was super amazing, i loved her energy and friendliness, staff was amazing, i loved the view and the game drive and the private access to the beach and the swimming pool
stunning hotel close to the beach, beautiful spacious rooms. the garden and pool is beautiful. the service is wonderful. breakfast 10/10. we loved everything about this place.
