“Stayed here for 2 weeks in August 2015 to explore the area. The house was easy to find as Kerstin had sent us clear directions. As it is slightly away from the towns and villages you would be best to use a car. Public transport is available but is limited to 1 bus or train per hour in each direction and buses stop after about 7pm. We stayed in the largest room, Edelweiss, which was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It had a door to a seating area in the garden and a great shower and a bath - the largest and best en suite we've ever had. Beds were comfortable. Loads of storage space. Coffee machine in the room with pods - topped up each day.The room was cleaned and fresh towels provided everyday. I glimpsed into the other rooms while they were being cleaned and they looked just as nice. All of the rooms have an entrance to the small garden and the seating areas are close together so privacy is limited - didn't bother us but be aware. There is a useful drying room which also houses a fridge/freezer for guests use an and honesty bar with drinks at reasonable prices. Breakfast is the usual continental affair with eggs, meats, cheese, jams and rolls. Kerstin sometimes provided tomatoes from her garden. Breakfast is served upstairs in Kerstin's kitchen area. I saw a lift so I think it would be accessible for the less mobile. The dining area is light, decorated with orchids and with a view to the beautiful garden. You might see the cats and the ducks. The table is shared with other guests and Kerstin will chat in German and English and suggest suitable excursions and events. She also leaves information in the rooms and the entrance hall. The free wifi worked very well. Kerstin and her husband are excellent hosts and we really enjoyed our stay.”
