“La Chaumière d'Alhoumont was absolutely the most amazing place we stayed on this trip to the Ardennes. Superb access to Houffalize, Bastogne and the surrounding area. Bedrooms are quiet and very, very comfortable. While we only used the kitchen for coffee in the morning, it can easily be used for complete meal preparation. In future trips to the area, it is the only place I would consider staying. Dominique is a wonderful host and recommended some superb restaurants (which is why we didn't use the kitchen). Cozy, comfortable, large showers, all the electronics you could ever want to use and a great kitchen.”

“A lovely, comfortable, clean and modern gite in a rural location so very quiet. We was greeted and shown around by the owners daughter who was very nice and spoke very good english. We could park right outside and it was secure. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. We only stayed one night as was travelling home. We stayed in the location to visit Bastogne as we are WW2 enthusiasts and we visited the Bastogne War Museum which was really good. It focused on the battle of the bulge.”
