“First of all, the hotel is perfectly located. You really can't get a better location in Fribourg. The rooms are comfortable, absolutely spotless. Good duvets. Good pillows. Good towels. Water and tea are in the room. Nice and quiet. I had a really good night's sleep. Something else happened which was really fantastic. As I was working the whole day after staying at the hotel, my cell was turned down. Around lunch time, I looked and saw that the hotel had tried to call me many times! I called back and they told me that a wallet had been left in the room I had rented for my business partner. I ran back to the hotel and the lovely woman at the front counter said she was so worried!! Wallet returned - everything in it. That is a service you can't even rate -- really great. I would recommend this lovely place without reservation.”

“very convenient location if you are doing anything at the university, in addition it's an easy walk to the old town. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. Rooms were very comfy and clean, and the breakfast was great. The staff were friendlier than I'm used to in Switzerland! Wifi also worked well in the rooms. overall, very smart place to stay for a work trip.”

“Unfortunately I only stayed one night, but there was a kitchenette and living area that would have made a longer visit very comfortable. It is about a 10 minute walk from the train station, mostly downhill, so if you have heavy bags you may want to take the bus back to the station. The bus runs closeby at the bottom of the hill. The manager, Frederic, was extremely attentive and made sure I was comfortable, even helping to charge my cellphone as I couldn't find my adapter.”
